Personalised Gin Cocktails, yummy! Ooh also jars of Hot Chocolate from the Bride's favourite Parisian cafe as favours for all the guests.
I usually liaise with couples over email to begin with, and am happy to meet face to face or over the phone/ face-time to help you to find out more about me, after all it's important to make sure I'm the right photographer for you! Following that, because I offer free engagement shoots, I'll usually get this booked in and use the shoot as an opportunity to get to know you, as well as to find out more details of your day. I'm also happy to have a venue show round, especially if it's a new venue to me - this is always helpful. Sometimes couples opt to combine the venue visit with their engagement shoot, which is a really nice way to capture the both of you in the place where you will be married.
I personally just love the confetti shot! It's full of natural smiles, and as well as capturing the just married couple, it also captures many of your friends and family in a really relaxed and happy shot.
Embrace it!! If we can get out for a few naturally light photos I'll get us out, otherwise if it's really torrential don't worry, I'll find the best inside space possible to capture images you'll love. In fact some of my favourite wedding images are from a wedding where it rained on and off all day, we were lucky to sneak outside for a few photos, but many of them we're captured inside, and they are just beautiful. I would always recommend finding a venue that has light, bright inside spaces just in case!
My Dad has always been passionate about photography, and in fact has a larger kit than me! Luckily we're both Canon so I can "borrow" now and then! 2 of my best friends are also very talented photographers, so I'm very lucky to be surrounded by people as passionate for photography as I am.
