Fun, quirky, alternative, modern, natural
I'm most proud that I decided one day (after my own wedding) that I wanted to be a wedding photographer, and went out and made it happen!
Have things that mean a lot to you. Whether that's Doctor Who table names, or Harry Potter-inspired vows, or a cake inspired by where you met! Don't ever think "It's a wedding, so we can't do that." YES, YOU CAN.
My other tip is for brides (sorry, grooms) - don't stress about your dress getting dirty on the day. If it touches the ground, it's going to get dirty...just let it go and have fun! I promise no one will even notice.
Gosh, SO many - I've had some amazing couples do some very cool things! A recent one was a rock song singalong during the ceremony. The guests loved it (as did I!). And I love when couples make things like table centrepieces themselves - one of my recent couples had Buffy, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Jeeves & Wooster centrepieces, all hand-sculpted by themselves.
Bring lots of umbrellas and just go with it - you can't change the weather, so just have fun and get cute "snuggling under the umbrella" photos!
