Hi, my name is Karl. I have been photographing weddings in and around Bristol and the South West for over a decade now and enjoy it more now than ever. I take a super relaxed, fly on the wall approach trying to blend into the background so I can capture all of the natural emotion and tell a story of your special day.
The only time I step in is if you would like some of the more traditional family group photos. I also like taking portraits of the married couple but again I try to capture the natural moments rather than anything too forced or staged. This usually lasts anything between 5 - 30 mins depending on how much time you would like to spend away from your guests and visiting locations.
All photos are processed and edited so they are looking their best. You will receive one set in colour and another set in black and white. All provided in high resolution on a usb stick and an online gallery that you can share with your guests and they can download from free of charge. Please check out my website to see if my work is a match for what you like. Please get in contact if you have any questions. Congratulations on your engagement!
I was once at a wedding when a Dr Who Tardis arrived complete with smoke and sound effects. Very cool.
Unobtrusive, natural, emotional, candid, friendly.
Making people happy with my photos.
Dont get too lost in the details and enjoy your day.
A tattooed wedding ring on the day.
I like to discuss what your requirements are and also my working style to make sure we are a good match.
The confetti shot is one of my favourites. You get lots of natural joyous reactions from everyone involved.

There is usually a break in the rain at some point for photos outside but I also find very simple or decorative locations indoors too. The rain never really seems to stop people having a good time so I try to capture the fun and joviality.
I started off doing street photography, shooting film and developing in a dark room. Since then photography has always been a major part of my life.
