Myself and Phil would like to say a BIG Thank You to Karen for capturing our special day beautifully on camera last October. Finding the perfect photographer was high on our agenda from the start of our wedding planning. We both had high expectations when it came to finding ‘the one’ to capture our special day and well, Karen certainly didn’t disappoint!! Karen went above and beyond her role as a wedding photographer to ensure our day ran smoothly, offering her advice on our timings for the day when we voiced concerns to existing plans. Her experience on weddings is definitely not to be ignored as she’s seen it all. During pre wedding meetings she can offer you great advice on aspects of your day you may have not even considered. Karen even came to the rescue on the day itself when our two young nieces who were bridesmaids came running into the room where i was being assisted into my wedding gown by my maid of honour, with the bows untied on their dresses and flowers falling out of their hair! Without hesitation Karen engaged with the girls, got them wedding ready in minutes and still managed to capture some great images of me in my gown! Karen was absolutely brilliant on the day with the children, allowing them their moment to shine in front of the camera but as soon as they were no longer required in a group photograph, engaging with them stood at her side while continuing to captures other group shots at the same time! Karen’s approach to her work is what impressed both myself and Phil. Not only is she able to make you both feel completely relaxed in front of the camera when its not usually natural for you, in order to create beautiful images but she is also able to be authoritative and command attention to a group situation without coming across as being abrupt at all. Karen is the perfect balance of what a wedding photographer should be, kind and approachable yet able to assert herself if necessary in order to create the images you are after on your special day. We are both overwhelmed with how our images turned out and our wedding album is absolutely stunning, truly something to treasure in our family for years to come. Thank you again for everything, you are indeed the dogs b*ll*cks as my husband kindly quoted to you when departing our evening reception!!
