Now based in Peterborough, Karen brings passion and expertise to every wedding she photographs.
Choosing Karen means more than just hiring a photographer—you’re partnering with a dedicated professional who listens to your vision and supports you throughout your wedding day.
Karen’s natural, candid style focuses on capturing genuine interactions and emotions. Couples consistently praise her friendly, professional approach that makes everyone—from the wedding party to guests—feel at ease.
For couples wanting even more coverage, a second shooter can be added to your package. Whether your wedding is an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, Karen is happy to travel across the UK and beyond to capture your perfect day.
Each wedding has its own unique memorable experienced, from experiencing Lockdown weddings where couples could have only 15 guests, which I loved personally as it gave you time to speak to everyone and the couple wasn't as worried about trying to greet everyone. To have some great themed weddings such as a funfair, Musical Speeches, through to my first vineyard wedding in the UK... yes I came home with lots of wine too!
Relaxed, Natural, Laid-back, Fun, Candid
I like to think I'm very good at responding quickly to everyone, and answering all the questions, and trying to be as flexible as a laid back to everyone's needs.
Enjoy the day! Don't stress, and when it comes to group shots try to avoid having a long list because nobody wants to stand around waiting for hours on end, keep it short, and to the important people.
Lego Table Plan! - I think this was a really fun addition and the couple had spent so long on trying to think of the best lego character for each guest!
I always love to meet people, so this can be in person or over zoom. This allows us to chat about what they want and the style they like to make sure I suit them. With all my full-day packages I offer an optional engagement shoot. This is so the couple can meet me, see how I work and this takes away some of the stress from the wedding day because they will already know what to expect. Next comes the wedding, and then after the big day you will receive an online gallery once all the photos are edited so you can see them all whilst waiting for your USB/Albums to arrive.
Natural ones, forget about the photographer have a moment and just be yourselves, chat, laugh, kiss. These are the ones you will remember not the awkward staged ones.
Umbrellas and Wellies. Embrace the weather you can't change it, you could stay indoors but you can get some really nice moments under an umbrella. I get that some brides won't want to ruin the dress, but let's face it are you planning to wear it out again?
It started at college, it was just something I instantly related to playing around in the darkroom, and from there I progressed onto university and had a year abroad in Australia. I've always worked in the photography industry and I'm a people person so 12 years later I found my way into weddings full time and I absolutely love it!
