Julia and You

We’re a little late sharing our review, as our wedding was on 19th October 2024, but we couldn’t go without saying how amazing Julia (& Michelle) were. We were drawn to the classy, timeless look of Julia’s work, and from our very first consultation she immediately put us at ease. Julia reassured us throughout and gave us complete confidence that our photos would be beautiful – and they absolutely are. On the day, Julia and Michelle were simply fantastic. Not only are they both such lovely ladies, but the ultimate professionals too. Having two photographers meant that no moment was missed – every angle was covered, and we now have the most incredible variety of photos from our day. During the ceremony and group shots, Julia and Michelle organised everyone so seamlessly – quick, efficient, and all while keeping things relaxed and fun. They even made the most of the sunshine when it came out at just the right time, capturing some of our favourite photos. We were also so impressed with how quickly Julia edited and delivered our full album – and we received every single photo in both colour and black and white, which was such a special touch. We would wholeheartedly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a talented photographer to capture their day perfectly, with photos that will last a lifetime. 5* does not feel like enough for Julia! We had an absolutely flawless experience with her as our wedding photographer from the first contact to the day itself. She created the most amazing photographs and incredible memories that we will always treasure. Her eye and attention to detail is amazing. She also sent us some highlights really quickly which made the days after the wedding even more special. Julia herself made our wedding day so special, she went above and beyond to help and make things run smoothly, is a lovely person and great fun to be around. We cannot recommend Julia enough!

Words cannot describe how talented Julia and Michelle are. I’ve only had my preview shots back and I’m blown away (as is anyone who has seen them) I am so excited to see the rest. Not only does Julia shoot the most incredible pictures, she is lovely to be around and makes you feel so at ease. She also was so handy to have around on the morning and made the whole thing a breeze, during the drinks reception she had the list of photos we wanted and worked through them as quickly as possible so we could join our guests which was important to us. I really cannot recommend her enough.

Julia and the team were immense from start to finish! They were professional and enabled the day to flow as smooth as possible without us even knowing they were there. One of the best parts upon reflection was how diligent Julia and the team were with getting the 'required' photos done, by keeping those who were going to be in the next shot close by. We've now received our photos, there are so many to look through, but we're so so happy with the ones we've seen to date. I'd highly recommend Julia & You - if I could give 10 stars I would!

Julia was truly the most perfect wedding photographer we could have asked for. From our very first meeting, we knew immediately she would be perfect for our day. She makes you feel so relaxed and yourself, nothing is too much and she is on hand all day long without being intrusive. Julia was so organised, and also really helped the day run smoothly. We were absolutely blown away by Julia and the photos from our wedding - they are absolutely stunning. Right from the get go, we felt in very safe hands. In the lead up to the wedding we had a few meetings with her on zoom to discuss what we wanted, logistics, family shots etc. On the day, Julia was brilliant, and so calming and helpful - such as suggesting we cut the cake a bit early to avoid it melting in the hot weather! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. Julia was super helpful on the lead up to the day, keeping in regular contact and guiding us through the process, and was just wonderful on the day itself. We received our pictures back so quickly and we were absolutely over the moon with them - they were perfect and we genuinely loved every single one.
