Getting to Know Joshua
Originally from the Wiltshire countryside, Joshua now lives in a cozy, plant-filled flat in North East London. When he’s not behind the camera, he enjoys coffee, skateboarding, Star Wars, and exploring bookshops. This blend of creativity and approachability helps him connect with couples, making your wedding day feel relaxed and fun while capturing memories you’ll cherish forever.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Elly + Ben had a two day mega wedding, the first day was in Plymouth town hall followed by a pizza place with lots of g&t's. The second day was in a huge tent by the sea. Across the two days there was endless laughter, dancing, chaos, beauty, sumo suits, bouncy castles, bottles of champagne, granddads dancing and a million other amazing moments. I was so happy to be there, it was the most fun and I still think about it now.

creative, original, fun, unposed and energetic
What about your business are you most proud of?
The day I stopped doing this part time and went full time. It was a big leap and a very scary one, but it pays off in the end.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan your day around you and not others, space it out more than you think and dont start too early. Take five minutes to be with your partner privately after your ceremony.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I'm really starting to like people that paint parts of the wedding day on a canvas, they are always amazing at it and its another lovely memory of someones day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I meet with each couple, let them know what to expect and give them a timeline of my process. I try not to bombard them with documents and rather be their hype man. I like to over deliver, and make each couple feel like I've provided them with a valuable, memorable service.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
There is many amazing shots, but one bride, Jessica. Was still breastfeeding at the time and in a moment with just her i got her feeding her new baby boy, in her wedding dress on a balmy august afternoon. A real special moment.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Don't let it stop it anything, push on and enjoy regardless
Describe how you got into photography.
I graduated Film from Bristol and found so much more work with photography in the beginning, i pivoted and did a Princes Trust course to help launch the business and haven't looked back.
