A surprise wedding!
All the guests were invited at church for the couple's son's christening. After the christening, I was in charge of distracting the guests while the bride discreetly sneaked out. Ten minutes later, the organ starts playing bringing confusion in the audience. Everyone suddenly looks back to see... A Bride!!!
The pictures of people's faces are priceless!
alternative. natural. quirky. genuine. emotions.
I'm proud of being able to attract the coolest couples!
It's the only party where it's all about the hosts keep it simple (k.i.s.s) and enjoy it! Another number one tip... do not underestimate costs... it always end up being more than what you think it will be!
During the wedding breakfast, every guest got a postcard as a name tag. On each postcard was a written a quirky story that happened between the guest and the couple. It made the wedding so very personal!
My typical process with couple is pretty simple.
We meet or call for a friendly chat to see if we get along. You wouldn't want someone you don't like at one of the most important day of your life! Then if we do we chat about what you really want to get out of my services and I explain you how you don't have to worry about me the whole day. You make a payment sometime after that et voila! I'm all set to do what I do best: capture instants and turn them into treasurable memories.
Some couples decide to skip the couple session and I think it's a shame for several reasons:
1. You both declared in front of all your loved ones that you have decided to commit to a whole life together, that is a BIG thing!!! Taking a bit of time out to process what just happened, just the two of you (and me...) is essential. 'Yes, we did it'!
I've been asked to take pictures of the bride with a lion!
Enjoy the day no matter what. Rain ads a little bit of character to the wedding pictures anyway. Polka dot umbrellas look cool.
