I’m Jon — a Kent wedding photographer with a calm, documentary approach, focused on real moments and real stories. No forced posing, no awkward setups, and no turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
Before Jon Snapaway Photography, I spent years photographing weddings with Blushing Bride Photography, working alongside Lee. That experience shaped the way I work today — staying relaxed under pressure, blending in when moments unfold naturally, and stepping in confidently when guidance is needed. The name has changed, but the experience and approach haven’t.
Couples regularly tell me how easy the whole experience feels, from the first message through to the final delivery. On the day itself, I keep things running smoothly, take control when needed, and stay calm so you don’t have to — even couples who say they “hate having their photo taken” end up feeling comfortable and genuinely enjoying the process.

What is your most popular package?
My most popular option is full-day coverage. It allows me to tell the complete story of your wedding, from morning preparations through to the evening celebrations, without rushing or missing important moments.
We’re not very comfortable in front of the camera — is that a problem?
Not at all. Most couples say this when they first get in touch. I work in a calm, relaxed, documentary way and won’t ask you to pose unnaturally. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but for most of the day you can just enjoy yourselves while I capture things as they naturally happen.
How far do you travel for weddings?
I’m based in Kent and regularly photograph weddings across the South East. I’m also happy to travel further afield — just let me know your venue and plans and I can advise.
When will we receive our photos?
Your full gallery is delivered within six weeks, although it’s usually much sooner — often within around two weeks, depending on the time of year. I take care to edit everything naturally and consistently before delivery.
Do you include albums in your packages?
Albums aren’t included as standard, but they can be ordered after your wedding through your private online gallery. You can either design the album yourself or select your favourite images and I’ll design it for you.
