Jon exceeded our expectations by far on our wedding day with his relentless energy, enthusiasm and commitment throughout the entire day. His photos are fantastic - our memories perfectly captured

Jon photographed our wedding in Liverpool and we cannot recommend him enough. One of the things we really appreciated was how Jon had gone before the day to a local (for us, not him) park we had asked if we could have some photos in (between church and reception hotel) and scoped it our for photo sites and ideas, making the shoot there run really smoothly (and at no extra cost for his time). Jon was also really flexible with our ideas and requests, ensuring all our set group photos were done as well as responding to guests' requests for photos. His candid photography was also excellent - viewing his photos afterwards (which came through, very well edited, very quickly) was a delight, he'd really captured some lovely moments. Jon was also great with the kids in the photos, getting some really nice photos despite the kids not exactly (read, at all!) playing ball. And perhaps the best thing was that almost immediately Jon felt almost like an extra guest in how well he interacted with everyone. A number of guests mentioned how brilliant he had been, and yet he also managed to in no way distract from the events as he recorded them. We felt, based on our experience and the photos we received, that we had had excellent value for money.

We absolutely love the photos that Jon took at our wedding, he captured the atmosphere of our day perfectly. From the staged shots, to those that were improvised or stealthily taken, Jon covered all the best moments from our day - including those that as the married couple we were too preoccupied to witness! We had a planning session some months before the wedding where Jon planned what we wanted to capture, but also to find out from us where the venue was so that he could visit the location and pre-plan where to get the best shots not only at the venue but at scenic spots around the area. We had a real variety of snaps that were delivered to us via a website and physically on USB stick. We would recommend Jon to anyone, his manner was exceptional on the day, not domineering at all, but certainly capable of organising a bustling crowd! Thank you for our memories.

Jon Lingwood was an excellent photographer for our wedding day. Professional and affordable, responsive and careful with our wishes. He planned carefully where our photos should be taken, going to the locations before our day to scout out spots. He asked us beforehand which pictures we really wanted, meeting with us to discuss options too and stayed throughout the day into the reception and dancing. Punctual, captured wonderful memories and took a lot of stress off of us. We would definitely recommend him (as he's just generally a nice person too!). Was a pleasure to have him.

Jon was brilliant as our photographer, we felt so at ease and comfortable. Felt more like a friend was taking our photos, which turned out absolutely incredible. All of our guests commented on how they didn't realise he was taking photos. We would highly recommend Jon for anyone wishing for an excellent photographer at such an amazing price.

Jon was exceptional from pre-wedding all the way until beyond our first dance. He was really professional in his approach and met with us prior to the day, making sure he captured all our wishes and gave us some advice on how the day will run. He made sure he was constantly in communication with us throughout, which was reassuring. On the day he arrived promptly and got straight to work, he captured our day exactly how we wished for and produced some absolutely stunning photos. We can’t recommend Jon highly enough if you’re looking for a prospective wedding photographer, and we will certainly be in touch in the future if we need a photographer. Jon was fantastic before and at our wedding. I can't believe he managed to get all of the pictures he did, it felt as though he must have been in so many places at once, but I barely noticed him taking them. He captured all of the candid laughter and fun of our wedding beautifully, and went out of his way to photograph things we didn't even realise we would appreciate. From when we booked him a few months before, he was always reachable and helpful. We are so grateful to him for giving us these memories, and the photos speak for themselves.
