Well, where do we begin with John... what an absolute star! We recently used Johns services for our special day. Having booked the venue over 2 years ago, we straight away started looking for a photographer. We eventually narrowed it down to 3 choices, and after further research and consideration, we decided to go with John. We were really impressed with Johns portfolio on his website and social media channels, and knowing he had plenty of previous experience at our chosen venue we decided that John was the right choice for us, and we certainly weren’t disappointed! From the very beginning, Johns communication was great. He stayed in touch with us as and when required, and as the big day grew closer, he arranged for us to have a video call to meet him and discuss the plan for the day. This also gave us the opportunity to ask any questions we may have and to discuss any specific photos we would like to have captured. John offers different additional services, so you can tailor exactly what you’d like. For example, you can extend the amount of time he stays for or add photo books. John also offers videography services, which we purchased as part of our package. Johns colleague Warren was the videographer for the day and also did a superb job. Warren was very friendly, professional and helped put us at ease. On the day, John arrived early to meet with the bride and bridal party to introduce himself and start taking photos of them getting ready, and to take some photos of the venue. He then met with the groom and groomsmen, again to introduce himself and get some photos of the groomsmen before guests started to arrive. John is a great photographer, but he is also much more than that, he is akin to the wedding coordinator. Throughout the course of the day, John guided us through the various stages, helping to make sure the day stayed to schedule, and made sure that we got some time to ourselves to take everything in. He was very polite and friendly with our guests. John took particular care where older guests were concerned, making sure that they didn’t have to stand/wait too long while group photos were being taken. Thank you, John and Warren, for being a part of our special day, for putting us at ease, for helping to keep the day flowing, and for capturing all the special moments on the biggest day of our lives! We can’t wait to see the photos and video; and relive the day all over again :)

We booked John for our June 2024 wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. We contacted him for his bright and airy photos and his familiarity with our venue but when we had our initial call he blew us away with his wonderful personality and his knowledge of weddings. Being a MEGA organised bride, I knew he was the one! Despite it being Father’s Day, England playing in the euros and roads around our venue being shut for the London to Brighton bike ride, John was full of energy! Like our day was special to him too and that feeling goes a long way! On the day he was more than a photographer, if you book John you really don’t need a wedding coordinator, he guided us through the entire day, he got all our family and friends in the photos and he had me laughing the whole way through. Being in front of the camera is WEIRD but John made us both feel totally at ease. The result??? THE MOST STUNNING PHOTOS IN THE WHOLE WORLD. We received our album last week, there were 1635 in total, way more than we were expecting! And we’re in love with every single one! He captured every precious moment beautifully and we’ve already spent hours going through them over and over. Book John, best decision you’ll ever make

What can I say? John room the photos for my wedding in may 2016. They are amazing pictures and capture our wonderful day perfectly. We spent a bit more on the album as we loved the photos so much. John is a really nice guy. Highly recommend.

John was the photographer at our wedding last August, and we were certainly not disappointed. From the very first moment we met John his enthusiasm shone through and his dedication and professionalism were second to none. The results were truly outstanding with a mixture of traditional, original and a few quirky shots thrown in for good measure. John made the atmosphere very relaxed which made our day a whole lot of fun, and took the edge off of any nerves. He was everywhere at the venue and took several shots that we didn't know he was taking which made for some great natural photographs. I would have no hesitation in recommending John as a photographer for any special occasion. Thank you so much John for making our wedding special and we look forward to showing the Grandchildren our memories one day!

Mr John Scofield.....Where do I start? From the moment we first met John I knew he was the man to photograph our special day. Highly professional yet fun and on the ball!! John is a perfectionist, his timekeeping is second to none - he doesn't miss a thing! John, you captured every look, every tear, every smile and made us feel at ease with the camera from start to finish. For two people who are extremely camera shy you guided us, made us laugh and you were honestly like having one of our friends taking the photos! If your looking for a photographer with that little extra something then JOHN is your man. Creative and artistic, his photos stood out a mile when I researched photographers for my wedding. I was not disappointed! They are truly breathtaking. I would strongly recommend to anybody to purchase a photo book. The quality is unreal and definitely worth spending a little extra on. More than just a photographer, made the day so much easier, even when I got into a SPOT of bother, would highly recommend as he goes above and beyond what a photographer should do.
