They are stunning

Well you can imagine what we have been doing for the last hour and a half! It was so good of you to produce the photos so quickly. We couldn’t wait to see them and know how long most photographers take, so we were thrilled to get them so quickly.   They are stunning. Absolutely superb. I know we will go through them time and time again but you have captured every part of such a special day, perfectly. Libby and Sam seemed so happy throughout and this came over in the photos. Their friends too, not just the ushers and bridesmaids, all  looked as though they were enjoying themselves (hopefully!) and some of the group photos were amazing too. It will be so hard to choose but a huge pleasure too.   We will be in touch again soon but just wanted to tell you immediately, how delighted we were. They made us feel very emotional and I am sure we will go through them again before the day is out.   Best wishes, Sue.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Honestly, I've done so many weddings and been so lucky to have worked with such lovely people that I really couldn't possibly single out a single wedding, and neither would I want to! This might sound a bit cheesy but all the weddings that I've been asked to photograph have honestly been a joy and a privilege.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

relaxed, discreet, enjoyable, natural, quality

What about your business are you most proud of?

The empathy and connection that I can make with couples as a result of experience, putting them completely at ease in front of the camera. I love to produce a set of natural photographs that truly reflects the joy and the buzz of the day. My past experience in the professional photographic laboratory plays a very large part in the quality of the processing.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't get stressed: make it "you".

Find suppliers and venue that you really get along with and it will all come together.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

It starts with the engagement shoot. This is such a good way of us getting to know each other so that you won't be met by a stranger on the day.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Just don't worry about it! No matter what the conditions, a good photographer will guide you every step of the way and make the process enjoyable and worry-free.

Describe how you got into photography.

I represent the fourth generation of photographers in my family who have been in photography in Sheffield since 1870. I have worked in processing, travel and commercial photography but it was wedding photography that I wanted to specialise in.
