Joe Topping Photography

I'm a documentary style wedding photographer based in Powys, Wales. My approach is unobtrusive, un a nut shell I like to let my couples do their own thing and enjoy their day. I'm not there to interrupt moments and make you pose for photos, in my opinion that is what iPhones are for. I try to blend in, like another guest at the wedding but with a camera (and more skill! or at least I'd hope!) - I want you to look back at your wedding photos in 10, 20, 40 years from now and see it from the perspective of a family member that was there. My editing style leans more on the colour-accuracy side of things, I prioritise making peoples skin-tones look healthy (which is not an easy task when there is mixed lighting!). My posing style, when it comes to the couples portraits, is natural and often incorporates movement - I feel this is the best way to get genuine expressions and not feel awkward in front of the camera. I'm rather introverted myself, so if you are the type of person who doesn't like having their photo taken, I'll look after you! I know how it feels, and I will do my very best to make you feel at ease on the day, and look great in your photos!
