One of my most memorable weddings was actually my sister-in-law’s. It was the first wedding I ever photographed, and it showed me how meaningful this work truly is. Seeing her reaction to the photos – and realising I had captured memories that would be cherished forever – was the moment I knew wedding photography was my calling. Every wedding since has built on that feeling, but that first one will always hold a special place in my heart.
Creative, Authentic, Timeless, Professional, Story Driven
I’m most proud of the way I capture genuine emotions and turn them into timeless memories for my couples. Every wedding is unique, and I love being trusted to tell that story in a way that feels both creative and natural. Seeing couples relive their day through my images – and knowing those photographs will be treasured for a lifetime – is what makes my work so meaningful
My No.1 wedding planning tip is to focus on what truly matters to you as a couple. It’s easy to get caught up in trends and endless to-do lists, but the day is about your love and your story. If you prioritise the things that make you happiest, everything else will fall into place – and your photos will naturally reflect the joy of the day.
One of my favourite personal touches was when a couple incorporated handwritten letters to each guest at their reception. It was such a thoughtful gesture that brought tears, laughter, and so much emotion to the room.
My process is all about keeping things simple and stress-free. First, we’ll have a chat (in person or online) so I can get to know you, your story, and your vision for the day. Once your booking is secured, I’ll stay in touch in the lead-up to your wedding, helping with timelines or photo suggestions if you need guidance. On the day itself, I work in a natural and unobtrusive way – capturing genuine moments while also guiding you through portraits with ease. After the wedding, I’ll send you a sneak peek within a few days, and your full gallery of beautifully edited images will follow within 6–8 weeks. If you’d like albums or wall art, I’ll help you design something that perfectly showcases your memories.
The No.1 photo every couple should take is a quiet moment together right after the ceremony – just the two of you, away from the crowd. The emotions are still raw, the excitement is real, and it creates the most authentic, heartfelt images you’ll treasure forever.
The Bride and Groom asked if I could take a photo of them with their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen with coloured smoke flares, not only was this a great idea, it brought alot of excitement & brightly coloured smoke flares which made the images look very impressive & unique.
Rain can actually make for some of the most romantic and creative wedding photos! I always recommend embracing it – whether that’s with clear umbrellas, cosy indoor shots, or dramatic outdoor portraits with reflections and moody skies. I come prepared with backup plans and ideas, so no matter the weather, you’ll still have beautiful images that tell the story of your day perfectly.
I’ve always been fascinated by digital cameras and the art of capturing moments. I started out taking photos of family and friends just for fun, and it quickly became something I loved. My turning point came when I was asked to photograph my sister-in-law’s wedding. It was such a success – and seeing how much those photos meant to her made me realise this was more than just a hobby. That experience sparked my journey into wedding photography, and I’ve been passionate about telling couples’ stories through my lens ever since.
