What is your most memorable wedding?
Probably my own :D Yours should be too!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fun, Candid, Unimposing, Relaxed, Real
What about your business are you most proud of?
Giving 100% dedication to each and every couple on their wedding day. Working to ensure the day is captured in the most honest way possible without the usual stress often associated with photoshoots.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy it!! The planning stage is the beginning of your wedding and it's supposed to be fun, no matter how far in advance you think you're planning your wedding will come round quickly. And once here it's going to go so fast.
Enjoy every stage and both partners get involved, when you see joint plans coming together on the day it makes it all the more special.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bride and groom wrote a personal note to every guest left on the table as a wedding favour
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We'll arrange a meeting (usually virtually these days) to chat through your plans and see if we're a good fit. Weddings are so personal so this part is really important.
After that if you wish to book there's a form to complete along with paying a booking fee and then we're good to go. We'll catch up properly in the week before your wedding day but I am always available to answer questions, give advice or recommendations at any time you like.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
My style is very much documentary and about moments. Every wedding has its own moments and the best moment for one wedding is unlikely to be the best moment at yours. I will find your moment and a whole load of them to tell the story of your wedding day.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I want every photo I take to be original, it's all about personal moments on your wedding day
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas... and a brave face. No, seriously though, I'm really relaxed in my approach, if we can't do certain photos at certain times, we'll just adjust accordingly.
On the very few days that it rains all day I will work with the best your venue has to offer. I've shot in all weathers and rain is no biggy. If it is one of those days that it won't stop raining my advice is, embrace it.. The weather is the only thing you can't control so once you are at peace with this and put your trust in me to ensure you still have amazing photos you will no doubt have the best wedding day regardless of what the weather is doing.
Describe how you got into photography.
A hobby that got out of control, culminating in my own wedding which opened my eyes to the opportunity to have the best job in the world.
I really love what I do and feel privileged to be at each and every wedding.
