Jill captured our wedding day to perfection - not only is she an amazing photographer she is a wonderful person and was a joy to have there on our day. Our wedding photos are so beautiful and are everything we hoped for and more!

So pleased we chose Jill to be our photographer. A highly professional service from start to finish, coupled with Jill's down to earth nature was exactly what we wanted from a photographer. From our initial email conversation to the big day itself, Jill was warm, friendly and completely put us at ease. And most importantly we are delighted with the finished result. Our pictures are exactly what we wanted - bright, happy, natural and a real reflection of our day.

From the moment we first chose Jill to be our wedding photographer back in April 2020, to receiving our printed albums this week, it’s like been having a good friend by our side every step of the way. Jill is so friendly, warm and lovely, we both felt as if we’d known her for years instantly and there was nobody else we would have considered to capture our big day. The photos themselves are brilliant and exactly what we wanted; candid, fresh, modern and they really capture the beauty and joy of the day. As two people who are quite awkward in front of a camera and worried about how our wedding day would look, we’re so pleased with how the pictures came out and cannot believe these stunning pictures are from our day and not somebody else’s! So a massive thank you to Jill, we cannot recommend her enough.

We were delighted when we received our full wedding gallery from Jill. The photographs have captured the story, emotion and detail of the day so perfectly. Jill’s work is so classic and we know we will treasure her images for years to come. We especially loved how relaxed Jill was during our group and couple photograph sessions. She has a very gentle way of guiding everyone to get the perfect shot! We can’t wait to share them with our friends and family.

Having written, and re-written this review several times, I am struggling to find the accurate words to truly convey the experience we had with Jill. So please do bear with me while I try again. We had an absolutely phenomenal day, and Jill was the beautiful, bright icing on the wedding cake. Hilariously funny, so personable, dead easy to chat with, and to be perfectly honest we just 'clicked'. Jill put no pressure on us to conform to the usual stuffy, 'wedding-y' photographs. She was very happy for us to lead (even with some of our... 'odd' suggestions) and had clearly come ready and prepared with our requests for photos of specific guests (Granny, our young daughter, our beloved dog etc). She has such an eye for detail, and just got stuck right in!! Jill made a huge effort with our respective families, our 2yr old daughter (who took a real shining to Jill!) and our beautiful 10yr old staffy boy. You should honestly see our photographs which we received last month. They are so happy, warm, bright and capture the day beautifully from start to finish. It's actually almost like we have a video. I'm genuinely unsure how on earth Jill managed to be absolutely everywhere at the right time, but damn it, she bloody well did. If I could do my wedding day all over again, my very first port of call would, without doubt, be requesting Jill's services as photographer (and also as a guest). She is an absolute master of her craft, and quite clearly loves what she does. If you are looking for a totally badass, ultra-talented, easy-going, witty, chatty, no-holes-barred, amazing, fantabulous photographer, Jill is absolutely your gal. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Make way, because this lady is going places. Thank you again Jill. X

We choose Jill for (we hoped) bright, natural pictures we could look back on and relive the best day of our lives effortlessly, which is exactly what Jill delivered and more. Jill has given us not just images but memories and did so in a pleasant, relaxed, fun but vibrant way throughout. We were constantly at ease and welcomed her reassuring presence as we were guided through our wedding. Jill was more than a supplier and we are excited to return for more pictures sometime soon.

Jill is absolutely magical! She was amazing from the very first message right through to the end. She listened to everything we wanted aswel as adding her own personal touch and creative ideas. Jill was such an amazing part of our special day, from the initial contact years prior, up until we received our photos, she couldn't have been more friendly or professional! Both me and my husband are quite uncomfortable in front of the camera but Jill made it so easy and captured so many amazing moments. We had to reschedule our initial wedding date due to covid and she was so helpful and understanding when it came to changing the date and location. Jill was such a positive aspect of our day and it wouldn't have been the same without her!

As soon as we had our initial meeting with Jill Cherry we knew she was the one to photograph our wedding. I have always hated getting my picture taken and was so nervous about how I was going to manage on our wedding day but from our very first meeting Jill had me at complete ease and it felt like we were old friends! The entire process on the run up to the wedding was smooth and Jill was so helpful with more than just the photography plans, it was so nice having Jill at the end of the phone to help calm the nerves. On our wedding day Jill helped to ensure everything was happening as we wanted while Phil and I were getting ready separately, it was so nice having her by our sides and making sure we were okay! As our day progressed Jill managed to give Phil and I moments of peace away from the reception where the 3 of us explored our venue and Jill captured the most magical moments, it was so special sharing them with Jill and I will forever be grateful for her kindness, patience and friendship! Looking back at our wedding pictures, Jill truly captured the emotion, the love and our happiness in every shot, her style is timeless and her dedication to making every bride and groom feel like the most special couple in the world is clear. I can honestly say I never had any fear of the camera on our wedding day, Jill made sure all we thought about was each other, and for that, I'll be forever grateful to her!

Jill was incredible from initial booking straight through to delivering our beautiful prints. We chose Jill as our photographer immediately after meeting her as we were drawn to her incredibly warm, friendly and knowledgable demeanour. I think that it is incredibly important to pick a photographer for your wedding who you simply get on with. As it just makes the entire day go so much nicer as they are literally with you for most of it! We were due to get married in 2021 and had to reschedule due to COVID and I cannot express enough how helpful Jill was. Out of every supplier we had, Jill was the only one to reach out and see how we are feeling and how she can help us. Jill sent so many emails with words of advice and also optimism for us. It was so helpful during such an emotional time and I am forever grateful for having such a kind soul as one of our suppliers. On the day, nothing was too much hassle or big a task for Jill. I had sent over some sample group shot images I wanted and she captured them even better than the examples and what i could have ever imagined. Jill was more than a photographer throughout the entire process, she was a trusted and amazing friend who supported us. When we received our photos I could not believe the beauty and happiness that was captured. Everyone has commented on the photos and how she has just captured the day so well and through our pictures it just looks like everyone was so happy. I simply cannot recommend Jill enough and if you are due to get married take the stress away and book Jill as your photographer, you won't regret it!
