Hi, I’m Jessy — the face (and camera!) behind Jessy Jones Photography.
If you're looking for relaxed, natural wedding photos that feel like you, you're in the right place. I’m all about capturing the real, in-between moments — the teary hugs, the belly laughs, the glances that say everything without a word.
I know how much love, time, and thought you’re pouring into your day — and I want you to remember how it felt. My approach is friendly and unobtrusive; I blend in like a guest with a camera, so you can be fully present while I quietly document the magic.
Weddings are more than just a day — they’re a story. And I’d be so honoured to tell yours, from the nerves and excitement in the morning, to the joy and chaos of the dancefloor.
Based in Kirton Holme Lincolnshire, I photograph weddings all across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire and beyond, and I’m always up for an adventure if you're planning something a bit different.
If you're after beautiful photos and a photographer who capture your day as it happens rather than control it, I’d love to chat.
Let’s make something wonderful together
Jessy x
I had a wedding that took place in a marquee in the middle of a farmers field in possibly the worst storm Lincolnshire has seen for years - Thunder, Lightning, The lot! by the end of the night we had all the camera bags on tables, our trousers rolled up and shoes off to wade through the water but it didn't stop the party or some pretty epic photographs!
natural, alternative, romantic, modern, personal
Having such a great reputation with my amazing clients
DO NOT SCRIMP ON YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER and make sure you do your research. Yes i maybe a bit bias but once the cakes been eaten, the flowers have wilted and everyone has gone home, What do you have left? Having amazing photographs that capture your day, even things going on that you may not of noticed will bring back your day every time you look at them.
People putting their full personalities into weddings. Each and every wedding is so different nowadays and I love it. Put as much of yourself into your wedding day as you can. Its your day and should be played by your rules.
Initially i love to have a little natter over either email or video chat - this gives us chance to firstly discuss your plans, check availability and discuss all the options. Next I love to meet in person, have a coffee and a face to face chat to make sure that we are a good match for what you want and what I can provide, If all is good a deposit is taken and your date is completely blanked out of the diary. I then arrange to meet with you again around 2 months before the big day to run over all the paperwork and finer details so I'm fully aware of how the day is to pan out.
Couples photographs, but that's pretty obvious. Not only is it a chance to capture you both looking amazing but it also gives you a chance to spent a bit of time just the two of you on your wedding day without having a mass of people around you with their phones.
Being put in a tractor bucket and raised up high to get a full group shot was pretty interesting lol!
Don't let it affect your plans! If its raining theres nothing anyone can do about it. Stiff upper lip and carry on! If its forecasted to rain bring a pair of wellies to keep at the venue on the day to save messing up your wedding shoes and I always carry umbrellas and camera waterproofing with me so if your happy to still go outside; count me in!
I had twins! yes bit of a strange way of becoming a photographer but thats how my 'business' started. I first found a passion for photography when i was studying for a fine art degree and took photography as an A Level on the side. Then, strangely enough i ended up working as a quantity surveyor in construction and photography became a bit of a hobby. Once we had twins I decided to take it a bit more seriously and started shooting every chance i got, i did a few weddings to learn the trade and hey presto its been onwards and upwards since then.
