When the Father of the Bride was giving the Bride away he kissed her and said "I loved you first" with a tear in his eye. That tiny, special moment where they glanced at each other before he put her hand across - ohhh it was beautiful!
Romantic, Relaxed, Candid, Natural & Informal
I live for weddings, in the 15+ years I've been doing this my passion has never once dipped. I love weddings and how each one is different.
You never quite know how the day is going to go (even with all the best planning!). I love how emotional the day is, how truly special and intimate it is. I never take my being there for granted.
Never lose sight that 'It's your day!'. So many of my couples try to make everyone else happy. Most people just want to see you happy and are there to share your big day.
Music sheets/lyrics tied around the jars on the tables. It added that touch that was all about them, and also was a talking point for the guests too.
Lots of chatting and prep beforehand so the day runs really smoothly. Ensuring we get that nice and relaxed feeling on the day itself to the best of our ability.
One with your closest family and siblings. I still use my own wedding pictures taken for Fathers Day, Mothers Day, etc. These pictures will be passed down for years to come.
One of bride's had her horse brought to the reception and wanted a picture. It was stunning, I love it when couples' want their furry loved one's involved in the day also.
Planning - plan for it and then it's no surprise. Make sure your venue works for you should the weather turn and make back up plans.
I studied photography & once I got my qualifications I started up my business. 200+ weddings on and still loving it!!
