Jason Rodgers Full Description
I always feel genuinely happy to document somebody’s wedding, to capture every happy tear and emotion from that day. If I can capture an image that has been overlooked or even completely missed then that makes me happy. My heart lies in documenting your Wedding wherever it might be. I don’t want to be that guy that runs around dictating to you where you should be standing, it’s your day and for the best part of it I’d like to go unnoticed.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

It might sound like a cliche but they all are. I have shot a wedding were the groom has passed away a couple of months later, that really brings it home how important I think photography really is, it's clicking at that exact moment in time which would be otherwise lost forever.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

My style is relaxed, the last thing I want to do is make you nervous. For most of the time I like to go unnoticed to let you enjoy your day.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I have never had an unhappy couple and that makes me happy.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't be in a hurry, take your time, smile and enjoy every moment.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Homemade items.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once a couple get in touch I suggest meeting up over a cuppa and have a chat, once happy I ask for 25% to secure their booking and the remainder to be paid one month before.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There are two. Take one of the oldest member of the family and one of the youngest member.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A scotsman groom holding a dagger to his wife's throat in the back of the wedding car! (true story)

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Brolley's

Describe how you got into photography.

My Dad was a photographer/reporter for a newspaper and passed on his skills.
