I’m most proud of the genuine connections I build with my couples and the trust they place in me to capture such meaningful moments. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, unobtrusive approach that lets people completely relax and be themselves — and that’s when the real magic happens. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that the films and photos I create will be cherished for a lifetime.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy the day as it unfolds and don’t worry about perfection — the best moments are always the unplanned ones. Trust your suppliers, stay present with each other, and let your personalities shine through. That’s what makes your wedding truly memorable on film and in photos.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love when couples include personal vows or handwritten letters during their ceremony or morning preparations. Hearing their own words adds such emotion and depth — it’s one of those moments that always feels completely unique to them and translates beautifully on film.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My process is relaxed and personal from the start. Once a couple gets in touch, we’ll chat about their plans and what matters most to them — whether that’s natural storytelling, a cinematic film, or a mix of both. I guide them through the options, from full Photo + Film coverage to my hybrid Fusion package, so everything feels clear and tailored to their day.
Before the wedding, I like to stay in touch and help with timelines or logistics to make sure the day runs smoothly. On the day itself, I work quietly in the background, capturing genuine moments as they unfold. Afterward, couples can expect a carefully edited collection of photos and films that tell their story beautifully and naturally — something they’ll want to relive again and again.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
It has to be a moment that feels completely real — not posed. Whether it’s a quiet look between the couple right after the ceremony or that burst of laughter during the speeches, those unscripted moments always carry the most meaning. They’re the ones that instantly take you back to how the day felt, not just how it looked.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One of the most original requests I’ve had was for a drone shot capturing the entire wedding party cheering in the gardens right after the ceremony. It was such a fun moment — full of energy, laughter, and pure joy — and it turned into one of the couple’s favourite images from the day. I love when couples come up with creative ideas that reflect their personalities.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Rainy days can be absolutely beautiful — the light is softer, colours pop, and those cosy indoor moments often end up being some of the most emotional. My advice is to embrace it. Bring clear umbrellas, have a flexible mindset, and trust your photographer and videographer to find great spots no matter the weather. Some of my favourite shots have been taken in the rain — it adds a touch of romance and spontaneity you just can’t plan for.
Describe how you got into photography.
I first picked up a camera as a teenager and was instantly hooked on storytelling through images. What started as a creative hobby soon became a lifelong passion — I loved the idea of capturing real emotions and fleeting moments that can be relived forever. After photographing a few friends’ weddings, I realised how much I enjoyed the energy and emotion of the day, and I’ve never looked back. Years later, I still feel incredibly lucky to call this my job — telling love stories through photography and film all around the world.
