Jamie Davis Photographer Full Description
My wedding photography caters for couples who love images with impact, as well as covering the traditions of a wedding day such as family groups, cutting the cake etc. I can offer a full day (from brides preparations to 1st dance). You will receive hundreds of digitally corrected images. the images will show, fun, romance, drama, friendship, love, family, commitment, detail. Everything you wanted them to be. I also have a fab selection of UK made wedding albums which will last a lifetime. Each wedding is a new challenge for me, even if it might be at a familiar venue. Every couple are different. I have vast experience and if it's happened on a wedding day - I've probably seen it & lived to tell the tale! From broken down wedding cars, to fainting brides. My approach is very relaxed and informal & I am always very pleased to hear feedback from couples after the big day, when they tell me they had so many comments from friends & relations who said they were so relieved the photographer was so much fun & such a nice guy! It has even been said they thought I was the grooms brother because I fitted in so well with the wedding party! You can rely & trust me to create a gorgeous record of your day & I will always offer a personal, friendly & professional service. Wedding photography - the way you imagined it.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

the ones where couples do their own thing & the wedding mirrors their personality, not anyone else's

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

fun, dramatic, personal, creative, complete

What about your business are you most proud of?

the memorable moments I create for people

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

for photography - don't choose based on price

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

as a father of 2 daughters, it's always the Dad's speech that brings a tear to my eye. although once, the whole room was in tears as the bride got out her guitar & sang a song to her groom, that she had written about him. blub.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

after booking, i like to arrange an engagement photo session to get to know the couple. then nearer the time, a meet to discuss the finer details of the day. then the big day. once back from honeymoon, the couple will find an online gallery of the images & then receive all the digital files. album design will follow if they have chosen that route.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

every photo is important, not just one. however, i can think of 2. 1. a classic ¾ length shot of bride & groom smiling at camera, showing dress, suit & bouquet. I call this the 'silver frame' photo. It's the one for mum & dad. 2. any shot with the bride & groom connecting with each other. a look, a glance, a grin. those are the most important to me.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

a lime & spoon race was quite good fun! made for fab images as grannies & uncles battled for the winning line.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

an umbrella & a brave bride

Describe how you got into photography.

always been into photography since i was a kid. nothing else seemed to compare when it came to career choices. i am a 'lifer'!
