For over nine years, James Neale has been dedicated to photographing weddings across Norfolk, creating beautiful, lasting memories for couples like you. He believes every wedding is a unique story, and his goal is to capture the genuine emotions and fleeting moments that make your day truly special.
James is known for his relaxed, unobtrusive approach. Rather than directing your day, he steps back and lets it unfold naturally, quietly capturing the laughter, tears, and joy. Many couples say they barely noticed him, which helps them stay relaxed and fully enjoy their celebration. This documentary style means your photos will reflect the true atmosphere and spirit of your wedding day.
James feels honored to capture the most meaningful moments of your wedding—from the groom’s first look, to the proud walk down the aisle, to the joyful pronouncement of marriage. These heartfelt moments are what he loves preserving, so you can treasure them for a lifetime.
I have been lucky enough to shoot a number of destination weddings in locations such as New York, Spain, Gibraltar and Lake Garda.
The lake Garda wedding was probably one of most favorites as It was such a stunning location.
The wedding itself was shot on top of a castle over looking the lake.
informal, quirky, fun, discrete, beautiful
I am most proud of the sheer number of couples who trust me to capture their weddings. I have been shooting weddings now for over 9 years and I love every single one of them. Currently I shoot around 40 weddings per year and around 90% of them come from other brides and venues recommending me.
One thing I do hear of a lot is couples only having a photographer for 4-5 hours and missing the evening and first dance, but then they will spend £250 on a chocolate fountain. They always regret it afterwards. Cut back on other things to have your photographer there all day.
This year one of my brides had hand made her flowers and button holes from paper. The paper was taken from the couples favourite books and looked stunning!
Lets meet up for a cuppa one evening to discuss things in more detail and so that I can show you some of my work.
Selfie with the photographer.... ;)
I recently had a bride have her photograph taken with a Jewsons sand bag...
Umbrella and wellies!
I got into photography around 13 years ago on a charity trek in China. I came back and bought my first DSLR camera, the rest is history...
