The more fun you are having, the better photographs I’ll get. Simple! I tend to have very little influence on your wedding day other than any formal shots you may want and some time with the two of you.
And that’s as simple as it gets.
I will be there to capture the moments and emotions from the day, from the big hero shots to the quiet and delicate moments; from the nerves and anxieties to the fun and chaos and as much as I can in-between. I tend to be “hands-off” and tell the story of the day in an informal and natural way as possible. I happy to marshal and move people around for the formal shots so we can get those done as efficiently as possible giving you more time for champagne with your friends. Which means you end up with a fantastic collection of photos covering all elements of the day without feeling like you’ve been part of a photo-shoot!
It’s your wedding day and it should be enjoyed being with your friends and family, eating, drinking and celebrating (and perhaps a few dodgy dance moves later in the evening). Photography is important but it shouldn’t hijack your day.
