Jack Valentine Photography Full Description
NATURAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY I love to capture weddings in a natural, modern style while having lots of fun along the way. Other than staging some family formal photos I prefer to be a fly on the wall documenting real moments so when you go through your photos you can re-live your wedding memories of the day just the way it was. "We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding; Jack was nothing but helpful, professional, and above all else, personal from start to finish - Certainly something money can't buy! Project Valentine will go from strength to strength and it will be down to the dedication and passion this talented photographer has for his job. There is no doubt in our minds that another photographer could not have produced the results whilst making the process of taking them so stress-free and fun!" - Laura and Jonny <3

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I shot a wedding in London that had a relaxed, music festival theme. Being a music lover it was right up my street! The weather was perfect and the day was full of smiles! It was truly awesome!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural, modern & fun!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be sure to add YOU to YOUR wedding. Add the little things you love to the details of your day for a personal wedding all about you!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Bringing a pet you love to your wedding is always a nice touch. I'm a dog lover and seeing newly weds who love their pets is very touching :D

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I meet 99% of my couples before they decide to book. It's great to get to know each other a little better to make sure that we all get along and that everyone has a good understand of what's expected. I then meet again 4-6 weeks before the big day to talk over the big day and the final run down of the day. I always recommend adding me on facebook and liking the page so that we can keep in touch that way and they can keep up to date with current work and blogs.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Simply allowing a good amount of time for the couples shoots so you can have awesome photos to share for the rest of your lives!

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

I've been asked for some comedy photos to use as thank you cards. Something a little whacky that guests wont expect to arrive in the post. Always a good, fun idea!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Grab those wellies and embrace the day! The UK is a wet place a lot of the time so don't be put off by the rain as it can create some stunning photos! Bring your wellies and a nice umbrella (I usually bring a few) and just enjoy it! Yes we can take some photos inside but if you have stunning grounds then wrap up and get out side as you only do it once! We did this on our wedding day and it was the best decision we made.

Describe how you got into photography.

I first got into photography when I picked up a camera to document my band while we toured. That's right, I'm a wanna-be rockstar! For years I chased the dream of being a rockstar, touring the UK and living out of the back of a Transit van. It was amazing! Getting my first camera to capture those memories was a great idea but when you own a SLR camera the time comes when someone, usually a family member or friend, will ask you to shoot their wedding. That's exactly what got me started into wedding photography and I've been doing it ever since.
