My name is John Patrick Reid Shahabeddin and I'm a wedding photographer. I live in rural Northumberland with my wife, Christina; my son, Arthur-Felix; my black lab, Treacle Toffee; and my adopted cat, Figgy Pud. I have a second base in Lancashire, too, and shoot weddings all over the UK, and abroad. I'm a bit rubbish at writing these things, so here's seven reasons to consider having me join you for your nuptials: 1. I have a camera, three in fact, which is kind of essential, I know. 📸 I also have three axes. These are not really essential. But cool. ⚔️ 2. I'm tremendously easy going, so defo won't be a goon with you or your guests. I may even flirt with your mum a bit. Sorry. 😘 3. I wear a kilt to your big day, so regularly flash my balls by complete accident. Most people find this funny, which makes for good natural pics. 🍒 4. I wear a bandanna, and sometimes braids in my hair. Depending on their age, I often get called "Fat Captain Jack" or "Fat Axle Rose" by guests. I dig this. 🧣 5. I've been doing this for quite a while now, so I know how stuff goes down at a wedding. Nothing really surprises me, like the weather. Except that one time when a nightwatchman thought the bride and groom and I were dogging in an abbey during a nighttime shoot. That did surprise me. ☀️⛈️☔ 6. I have a beard, my favourite animal is the brown bear, and I like prosecco a little more than my other bearded friends would like. Screw them. Prosecco tastes good. 🧔🐻🥂 7. I like to inject a little bit of me into the way I do things, but a lot of you in your pictures. When you look through your pics, I want you to experience your wedding day again, not just see it. I want a vial of the tears of unfathomable joy from you in the post.
