What about your business are you most proud of?
I am incredibly proud of the opportunity to preserve precious memories for future generations. Being part of a wedding day is a honour, and I am so grateful that the work I do truly matters. I get to capture the joy, the happiness, and the emotional moments of my clients with the ones they are closest to on one of the most significant days of their lives.
It's a privilege to witness and document the heartfelt interactions, the spontaneous laughter and the tender glances. These moments are fleeting, but through my lens, they are immortalised, allowing my clients and their families to relive their wedding day for years to come.
What fills me with the greatest pride is knowing that the images I create will be passed down through generations. They will serve as a beautiful reminder of the love and connection shared on that special day. My clients entrust me with capturing their most intimate and treasured memories, and I take that responsibility to heart.
I am dedicated to creating a visual narrative that is not only elegant and timeless but also deeply personal and authentic. Every wedding is unique, and I strive to reflect each couple's distinct story. Being able to provide this to my clients is what makes my work so meaningful and fulfilling.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The first look photo; the moment, when the couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day, is incredibly special and full of emotion. Whether it's a private moment before the ceremony or a surprise reveal as one partner walks down the aisle, the first look captures the anticipation and the excitement.
Having a first look photo not only gives you a beautiful, candid snapshot of your reactions, but it also allows you to share a quiet, intimate moment together before the ceremony.
Describe how you got into photography.
From a young age I have always been fascinated by photographs. I discovered the storytelling power of photographs showing the character and personality of a person. As I continued to grow, my fascination for the art deepened. Even today, when I walk through art galleries I'm in amazement when I encounter the visual stories captured by other photographers. These experiences, from the nostalgia of family albums to the awe-inspiring moments in art galleries, fuelled my desire to turn this passion into a profession.
Starting my own business was a natural evolution of this passion. It's not merely about taking photos; it's about crafting stories, preserving moments, and unveiling the unique essence of each individual through my lens. Photography, to me, is not just a business; it's a journey of connecting with people, capturing their narratives, and creating timeless visual legacies that will be passed down generations.
