She was friendly, helpful and professional from the start and this has continued, providing insightful guidance as and when needed. Helen was, and is, always on hand to answer questions, including from the guests on the day! Helen has provided us with a personal service that was way beyond anything we had hailed for from a wedding photographer. The time she took to meet us and understand our preferences before our wedding day meant that her photography onday went seamlessly. All of our guests commented on her friendly approach and that she worked tirelessly the whole day without being obtrusive in any way. This show in the amazing naturalphotos she has produced as a result capturing our day perfectly.

Helen is AMAZING! We met on Skype before the wedding and Helen sent us some very comprehensive questionnaire to fill before our chat so she had a really good idea of who were were (family etc) and what we wanted. On the day it POURED with rain! Helen was constantly in good humour, she had excellent 'Plan B' ideas for where to take pictures and she was incredible at capturing people laughing! The wedding pictures are outstanding - natural, fun and creative. A unique memory of an incredible day.

Helen is an amazing photographer. In previous years she has taken family photos for us and we had only 1 person in mind for our wedding shots. Loved Loved LOVED Helen as our photographer. We felt she knew us personally and was like a friend! We felt totally comfortable from the second we started our first Skype call and chose Helen because of this, and because we knew we would be excited to receive our photos back from her. During the wedding we felt so comfortable being photographed and directed by her and guests commented both on how discreet she was, and how unique and beautiful our wedding photos are. We'd use again in a flash!

We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Helen Lisk and love every single one of our photos. Helen was professional and personable on the day and had taken the time to get to know us as a couple prior to the wedding and to find out what was important to us - organising 15+ plus tipsy marines into photos on the day was no struggle for Helen! She was sensitive and tactful with some difficult family dynamics and made everyone feel at ease. She was a great hit with guests!

Helen has a wonderfully relaxed but professisonal style both in her photography and as a person. She was a pleasure to have at our wedding and was genuinely happy and excited to be there capturing the day for us. She worked so incredibly hard throughout the day, even climbing to the top of a large hill during a rainstorm to take some amazing shots. She was discreet, selecting well timed moments to take us away for couple shots, noticing when the light and weather was at its best.

We have a very special last minute arrangement for our weeding,everything booked within two weeks! It was a mini weeding with two of us and our two dogs as pageboys. I found Helen via internet search and left her a message about our plan. She replied and we all liked the idea of having a small private wedding with two dogs in the castle and she also arranged an additional session for photo shooting in Dartmoor. We had a great day and Balto and Shadow were so happy and proud!

Helen was a joy to work with before, during and after our wedding. On the day, she somehow managed to be everywhere at once, but totally unobtrusive. Her photographs tell the story of the day and looking at them brings back what we felt at each point, from nerves to relief to joy and laughter. For group shots, she was great at organising guests without haranguing them! After the wedding she made a wonderful slideshow and surprised us with some beautiful mounted prints as a gift.
