To me, it has to have been my own, sorry folks I know that is being selfish but it was just the best day of my life, I loved every moment, the sunshine, hail and lightening made it even more interesting and added to the whole inside/outside dilemma it NEVER Spoilt the day, but added to it as we had to be spontaneous with all our plans for photographs. But just being with all our lovely friends and family and getting married to my bestie (who by the way, comes as part of our packages!)
Comfortable - 1st for us, as its all about making you happy on you day by fitting in and helping you relax essential for those not happy in front of a camera

Creating a team of people that love what they do. Making memories, smiles and capturing a part of everyones own love story that will be shared for many many years. Since....2004!
Think about what you want on the day and stick to it, there will be lots of lovely and thoughtful ideas coming from friends and family, it is your day and its important to say "this is us and this is what we want" . Trends will come and go, friends will also come and go so concentrate on what you want and what is important to you.
So many to choose, but the time a groom took in engraving everyones personal name into a lovely piece of wood for the tables was amazing and a Lifestyle Whodunnit game to play in a garden where all the suspects pictures were the wedding guests.
Its always good to meet up before any decisions are made this way, we can all talk about what is important on the day and get to know each others personalities and make sure it works for us both. We would then meet up again before the big day to plan and prepare everything and look at the venues and the favourite ideas of shots. But we always recommend a pre wedding shoot. This is included in our day packages and can be done at our studio with instant viewing of pictures or out on a location. We love Bluebells in the spring and warm summer meadows, autumn with its falling leaves and summer evenings and the bright and coldness of a fresh winter (sometimes snowy) day. Oh, we have a contract too that details what we discuss, timeline and any other arrangements like travel times etc.
Just together in an organised but natural way in some part of your venue just the two of you even just for 5 minutes. We will always aim to get those natural key moments...1st looks, entrances, rings and looks at the ceremony, parents faces, bridesmaids tears, drinks & speeches. Its great to see that all come together. And...if you don't want lots of group shots then an everybody shot is fabulous to be included. But yes, those 5 minutes of just "you two time".
A steam roller! The Steam roller was interesting as the venue was at the top of a hill and it had to get up without ruining the driveway as well as how do you keep a bright wedding dress clean when every element of it is grubby! Twas great fun though!
When looking at you venues think what you would do it it was raining all day and you couldn't get outside! Umbrella's are a good accessory to being outside and rainbow colours can really be fun on a wet day. But think where you could go inside the venue and plan for a rainy day. Even in the summer months we tend to have as much if not more rain that the winter months...although obviously its warmer. We have lots of lighting gadgets and effects to help inside. But on rainy days big outside trees can also keep you try and canopes or outside gazebos.
My dad had been doing family movies and taking photographs since we were little. Then one of my first boyfriends gave me my first DSLR camera (film!) at the age of 18. It became my hobby, I was the annoying friend who had a camera with her at every opportunity. In my 20's I was lucky to work as a trainer/demonstrator of Adobe & Apple Macs for a London based business, developing a very early Computer Graphics based background. I worked for Scitex the founding company of one of the first digital Camera Backs in the 90's. This was the first in the UK and very exciting, imagine going from film to digital, I also had printing in my work skills then. That has been so handy working in this digital age as many photographers understand digital but still struggle with printing. So lucky to have grown with digital technology since the beginning and so lucky to have been offered redundancy which gave me the financial backing to start up Captcha Photography in 2004. #itswasfate
