For me, while I absolutely love gorgeous venues, unusual outfits and beautiful details, my favourite weddings are the ones where you can just feel the joy coming from the couple and their guests.
Real, fun, never awkward
Making sure my couples have a great party with their people, instead of a very expensive photoshoot
Meet up with your suppliers - they may look good online, but, having the same approach to weddings is important!
Dogs!
I love to meet a couple before the big day - it's great to meet up over a virtual drink and talk through your plans and get to know each other better, I want you to feel like I'm another (very organised) friend at the wedding!
Something with a sense of humour that really shows off your personalities - you'll know it when you see it...!
Bring some umbrellas, if it's at all possible, it's always fun to get some shots outside, even if the weather isn't cooperating. But, of course, we can find lots of indoor locations for group shots.
Embarrassingly, we have Livejournal to thank for that (showing my age).
