My most memorable wedding has to be my first one! Not only because it was my first but for a few other reasons... the wedding ceremony and reception were both outdoors in a field, the bride arrived to the ceremony galloping across the field on a horse, the bride and groom exited their ceremony both on the horse and the horse kicked them both off tearing the bride's dress (maid of honour on hand with a sewing kit!) but thankfully no one was hurt! It also poured down with rain during the reception but the bride and groom danced away in the rain anyways and the bride ended up cutting her long wedding gown to a knee-length dress because it was dragging on the wet ground... You can imagine this wedding exceeded all of my expectations and more! A wedding of utter celebration regardless of a few things that didn't quite go as planned- their love and joy could not be diminished. I will forever remember that wedding!
Documentary, natural, romantic, fun, timeless.
Before you start your wedding planning, sit down together and write down the most important thing to you about your upcoming wedding day- the one thing that cannot change or be missed out no matter what! Then, as you continue through your planning process, regardless of the stresses and to-do lists you can hold on to that one thing that matters most. Everything else is really an extra bonus...!
I especially love to meet up with a couple over coffee to chat about their wedding photography- it also helps to put a face to a name before making such a big decision as picking your wedding photographer! I talk through the booking process (contract, deposit and final payment) with all my couples and am always an email or phone call away if they should have any questions or want to discuss their wedding plans at any point. After the wedding, my couples can expect to receive 700+ edited images in a private online gallery to download, share and print their images 4-6 weeks after the wedding day. All of their edited images will also be delivered on a USB in a wooden keepsake box shortly after. If they order an album, I then start the album design at this point and work together with the couple to make sure their album is exactly what they're after.

I never want to compromise family, group and bride and groom photos just because of bad weather. I will always look for a way to use natural light versus dark, yellow indoor lighting. I will look for a porch, gazebo or other covering to where we can still have photos outside but we are under a covering (even if that means I'm the one in the rain!). I also come prepared with umbrellas!
