When she’s not photographing weddings, Hannah works on graphic design and supports small businesses and charities through her photography. She’s also a passionate advocate for body positivity, committed to making every person feel beautiful and confident in their photos.
Soulful, natural, artistic, laid back, fun
Don't feel pressured into planning things that you don't really want, or spending money that you don't really have. The wedding industry can go a bit nuts on marketing and you should take it all with a bit of a pinch of salt. Plan the things that are important to you as a couple and remember that at the end of the day, it's all about a marriage, not a wedding.
A carrot cake bake-off (an idea which me and my husband actually stole, it was so good!) – they invited their guests to bake and bring a carrot cake (if they would like), which would then be judged by the couple and the winning cake be the 'wedding cake'. They had some amazing entries. When we did it, we were blown away by the effort our guests went to – they were extraordinary!
After you get in touch with me, I will reply with a copy of my brochure, stuffed full of info so you have all the details to hand. I then suggest meeting up, either in person or by Skype to get to know each other a little (no commitment to book necessary). Once you have made the decision to book, filled in the booking form and sent your non-refundable booking fee, that's me all set! Your date is set in my diary. I get in touch 2-3 months before your wedding to check how the planning is going and get the run-down of all the timings of the day. You're free to get in touch as well at any point with questions. After the wedding, I take up to six weeks to carefully edit your photos in my signature style, before delivering them, both online in a password-protected gallery, and on a USB in the post.
