What is your most memorable wedding?
Oh man, they're all good in their different ways but probably the most memorable was the worst one! I'll tell... but only over gin. It's was a comedy of errors and alls well that ends well!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Colourful, natural, funny, real, genuine
What about your business are you most proud of?
It's mine, and I've grown it myself with support from people in my life... but it's a reflection of me and what I love and that's cool! #humblebrag
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Pay attention to yourselves and your personalities and your loves. Pour those into your day and have nothing for other people if you aren't comfortable doing so!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Gosh... there's been loads. It's probably different year to year, but 2017s was probably the beaded bird wedding dress and influx of unusual bird feathers in centrepieces by the bride who is a keeper at Birdworld. Gorgeous.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Ooh I say hello, and then probably rattle off a load of thoughts that are in the front of my brain and then apologise for them. Then I'll ask you what on EARTH is going on for your wedding, listen, get excited about it and then dream aloud about how cool it's going to look.
I love to meet for an hour over tea/beers just to chat and get comfy. I can offer preshoots if you want to go hang out again, then I rob you of all your hard earned cash and deliver your wedding back to you exactly as it was in photoform.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Hm. For a natural and relaxed photographer I'm going to go a bit leftfield here... the family/friends ones. The boring ones that you can't drink and chat through. The few groups.
They're not for now, they're for in 15+ years when people aren't with us anymore. It's super important and not something you'll easily get another time! No sense in regret for the sake of 20 minutes!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A bouquet toss from a JCB crane. It was AWESOME.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas (I have two), being relaxed about the fact you live in Britain and duh of course it's raining!
Describe how you got into photography.
I can't draw! Ha. I'm pretty creative and I love to create memories. Photography is for the future more than it is for now.
