Based in the beautiful coastal town of Dunbar, GWS Photography specializes in wedding photography that feels both professional and personal. Known for their easy-going nature, they help your day flow smoothly, so you can relax and enjoy every special moment. Couples often praise their calming presence, which helps even the most nervous brides feel at ease.
GWS Photography focuses on capturing your wedding as it naturally unfolds. Rather than directing poses, they act like a trusted friend, quietly documenting genuine smiles, laughter, and emotions. This relaxed approach means your photos will be authentic, joyful, and truly representative of your personalities and the spirit of your celebration.
Your wedding photographer will be by your side for much of your big day, so building a strong connection is key. Here’s what GWS Photography offers to make your experience seamless and memorable:
Based in Dunbar, East Lothian, GWS Photography is ideally located to serve couples across the region. They regularly photograph weddings in:
The last one. They are all special.
We let the day flow, but know how to use flash & pose a bride should we need to and we get the opportunity.
Our awards & achievements speak for themselves, but to be able to look at our diary for the next 2 years and see it filling up as bride's trust us so much is extremely heart warming.
Don't let ANYTHING panic you. Every wedding has a "thing" that happens, but a year after the big day you'll have amazing photos from an amazing day... and you'll have forgotten about the groom loosing his shoes, the cake being knocked over by the paige boy or dad fainting during his speech !
Dogs at weddings if they are part of the family can be great... but I think speeches from the heart, not Google win.
Holding their hand (not literally) from booking until after the wedding when they come back to see us for portraits and remain friends. Our big screen viewing in our studio after the wedding is alawys amazing too.
The first alone time away from the guests and just holding each other.
Rain. ;)
No idea, it was so long ago... is there something else I could do ?
