What about your business are you most proud of?
The pride I have in my pictures.... and the feedback and thank yous I receive from my couples. In 2018 I will shoot my 550th wedding - I'm pretty proud of that.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
After booking Guy Hearn.... I would say NO iPADS IN CHURCH :)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Phonecall...meeting....lots of emails....advise on all kinds of stuff not just photography....shoot wedding....deliver pictures....and relax.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Anything that isn't the ushers lifting up the bride.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A ring tied to a tortoise. I kid you not.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
I recommend realising you only get one big day so smile! And don't forget beautiful black and white shots of a couple laughing under a white umbrella on their wedding day look incredible!
Describe how you got into photography.
I worked at Pinewood Studios - then studied Film and Photography at Exeter University, and Louisiana State University. I assisted Nick Knight, one of the world's best fashion photographers, and happily fell into wedding photography by chance when I moved out of London to the Bucks countryside.
