One of my my most memorible weddings was a couple of years back
Creative, natural, documentary, emotive and fun (but not cheesy)
I'm proud of where my business is today, over the past 8 years My photography as changed and improved so much. I'm also proud of the relationships I have built with my customers and my customer service.
Creative a wedding that you want! Stamp your personalities on the big day!
One of my couples had included most of the guests in organising their wedding day, Everything from the waiter service to the band where all friends of the bride and grooms. It was a real lovely thing to be a part of.
Once the couple have booked me for their special day after their free comsultation, I keep in contact with them helping them where they need it so the wedding day runs smoothly. Before the wedding day I send them a photo list for them to fill out with details of their V.I.P's, Group shots, locations and Timings. On the day I get my self at the venue early so have a look around for locations for shots later in the day. During the wedding I'm professional, fun and relaxed. When needed I give a gental directional but nothing to fake or contrived.
I lovely relaxed portrait of the couple, be that taken when the bride and groom are not aware during the celebrations, or in the bride and groom portrait session before the wedding breakfast. it has to be something they want to hang on their wall at home.
This was of the bride and groom in a landscape setting back in Feburary, we only had about 5 minuites to get the shots we wanted and I saw a wonderful oppotunity of putting the couple on the road with the winter sun setting behind them, then all of a sudden a red pick up truck went by the embracing couple and I got the shot I wanted.
An open mind, a smile, Wellington boots and lots of brollies, lets have fun!
I was always in to art and drawing as a child and my uncle had an SLR, but it wasn't until I saw a camera in a shop window at the same time as I was going to renew my Nottingham Forest season ticket and boom then it all started for me. I studied art and design at college and found photography when I was 17, I then went on to get my degree in Photography and the rest is history.
