The best thing about having Gemma as my wedding photographer was that she put me ( a relatively shy bride) at complete ease. She took the time to get to know us in a completely relaxed way and went with the flow of our day. She captured the most beautiful photographs and I couldn’t speak more highly of her. It will be great to see her again when she records one of my best friend’s special day in a years time. Thank you again for our incredible photographs.

I have had the pleasure of working with Gemma several times in the past, but most recently for my wedding in June. As soon as I got engaged, I knew there wasn't anyone else I'd have to capture my day. Anyone who meets Gemma will instantly feel relaxed - she is attentive, always professional and makes you feel so at ease. For me, Gemma was just another good friend with us on our day, except she had a camera in her hand aswell. On the day Gemma was quietly organised - not ever making us feel rushed - she always had a very chilled out approach. Even when our venue seemed to push forward our meal and we hadn't had one photo together as a couple when we sat down, she reassured us that everything would be fine. We got our previews while we were on our honeymoon and they were just perfect. And then a few weeks later we got our full album and I was totally blown away. There isn't one photo that I don't love. I couldn't have wished for more from our wedding photos, they are beautiful and we will treasure them forever. But it wasn't just about the photos when we booked Gemma - its her aswell. Gemma recently photographed our wedding in Suffolk. She was superb from start to finish and we really couldn't rate her highly enough. She was professional, diligent and an excellent communicator throughout the entire process (from our initial consultation, engagement shoot and the Wedding Day itself).

I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said about the lovely Gemma. After a lot of research, we decided to go with Gemma as we really liked her relaxed, natural style of photography and I cannot think of anyone better to capture our special day. From the initial meet, we knew that her calm and organised approach would fit perfectly with our day and we were right. Our engagement shoot was a lot of fun and even though it rained heavily, this did not faze Gemma in the slightest and she was able to use her creativity to capture the most magical photos. She was always on hand to offer advice and could not have been more organised or efficient. She even helped me get ready and ensured that I was calm and relaxed throughout the morning. She organised our guests effortlessly on the day itself and fitted in perfectly. She truly is a super talented individual and you shouldn’t have any hesitation about choosing Gemma. Gemma photographed our wedding at Hengrave Hall on 2nd June 2018. She was recommended to us by another local photographer as we wanted something specific, and Gemma's style was exactly what we were looking for! Gemma is a very kind and friendly person who can put you at ease straight away. As other people say a shoot before the wedding can feel bit unnerving, and awkward, but Gemma made those feelings go away as soon as we got started. She even managed to get some wonderful shots of us with our spaniel George. On the day Gemma was so helpful. Always looking at the small details and being around us she felt like one of our family and friends. The photographs we have from the day are so beautiful, we are so thankful we chose Gemma, and can't recommend her highly enough... I can't thank or recommend Gemma enough - our photos are incredible, every little detail of the day was captured from start to finish. Gemma is a pleasure to work with and really made me feel at ease as I'm not a fan of having my picture taken. From the engagement session to receiving our album at home Gemma was very professional and really got to know us as a couple. On the day of the wedding it felt like a friend was our photographer and not a supplier, she even helped with a couple of wedding prep bits in the morning. She's just fantastic!

Where to start....right from the very first meeting we knew that we would get along like a house on fire! Gemma photographed our wedding in May this year, and we are in love with every single photograph! From the start, communicating with Gemma was a pleasure and she was so very helpful throughout our whole planning journey. Our engagement Shoot was so fun, and was a great opportunity to get used to the camera. We laughed and joked and we left Mersea knowing we would be absolutely fine on our wedding day! On the day itself, Gemma was so lovely, calm and happy and actually felt more like a friend at our wedding as she fitted right in! (I mean what other photographer learns to ‘floss’ with your Ushers!!) our photographs are the perfect reflection of our day and we can’t wait to use Gemma again at any future events.
