Every wedding is memorable for me but one I do remember well was the wedding of a couple who had to cancel their wedding 3 times and eventually got married on Friday 13th.
This was of course during Covid times. So the first time they cancelled was due to lockdown, the second time was because the Brides father had to have heart surgery. The third time was because both the Bride and Groom caught Covid. The date they eventually got married on was lucky for them - Friday 13th!!!
Natural, fun, colourful, reportage and timeless
Being a professional photographer for 27 years and having my own business since 2001.
Give yourself enough time at the drinks reception for pictures.
Pictures of parents and grandparents wedding photos on display.
First meeting to disuss their day and for them to look over my work.
I have a meeting or site visit two weeks before the date when we go over all the details of the day.
I photograph the wedding from morning preperations to the first 4 dances.
2-3 weeks later their online gallery is ready and I send out their USB box.
I then design an album if the couple went for one of my album packages.
The album is made and posted out to the couple.
A confetti picture!
The Bride and Groom on a bouncy castle!
Make sure you have an area in mind inside the venue that you can use for group shots.
Bring plently of umbrellas as I will get the Bride and Groom outide even if just for a wee while. A change of shoes for the bride is also a good idea.
My Dad bought me a camera when I was 17 and it was my hobby/obsession for a few years until I went to colleage to study and HND in photography.
