Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement on the stunning Dorset coast or a large, joyful celebration, Fresh Eye Weddings is passionate about telling your unique story. With experience since 2009, we bring a calm, thoughtful approach to capturing memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
Every wedding is unique, but one that stands out was a clifftop Dorset ceremony overlooking the sea. It was small, intimate & filled with raw emotion — beautifully candid & unposed.
Kelly & Rick’s wedding will always hold a special place in my heart — not just because it was the first I captured, but because it was so beautifully real. It took place on the groom’s family farm, with every kind of weather imaginable, turning the day into a joyful, muddy adventure. The bride even had to change out of her dress mid-way through! It was full of laughter, love, and the kind of moments that make this job magic. I’ve stayed in touch with them since and even photographed their firstborn’s naming ceremony a year later. It’s memories like these — messy, meaningful, and heartfelt — that remind me why I do what I do.
Natural, documentary, candid, unposed, authentic.
Natural, emotive, inclusive, unintrusive, storytelling.
That I’ve built something rooted in care, not trends. I’m proud to create space where couples feel safe, celebrated, and completely themselves — especially those who might not see themselves in traditional wedding media. Being able to capture real love stories with honesty, emotion, and quiet presence… that’s everything to me.
I’m proud to create an inclusive, welcoming space where every couple feels celebrated. My natural, candid & unposed style means their story is captured authentically & without pressure.
Focus on what truly matters to you as a couple, not traditions or trends. When you feel relaxed & authentic, your photos & films will reflect the real joy & emotion of your day.
Plan the day you want, not the one you think you’re supposed to have. The most meaningful weddings are the ones that reflect who you are as a couple — not a checklist. Let go of “shoulds” and lean into what feels true to you. Everything else will fall into place.
I love when couples weave in personal details — from handwritten vows to unique music choices. Those heartfelt touches create authentic moments that are beautiful to capture.
It’s always the emotional touches that stay with me — like when couples write letters to each other to read in the morning, or when a ceremony includes loved ones sharing words or music. It doesn’t have to be big or showy — the most powerful touches are the ones that feel personal, heartfelt, and true to the couple.
Everything starts with a relaxed chat — no pressure, just a chance to connect and talk about your plans. If we’re a good fit, you’ll receive a simple booking form and deposit info. From there, I’m here to support you: I’ll send over a guide, help with timelines, and stay in touch in the lead-up to the day. On your wedding, I’ll work quietly in the background so you can stay present and enjoy every moment — knowing it’s all being captured with care.
I start with a friendly chat to learn your story, then guide you through booking & planning. On the day I blend in, capturing natural moments, before delivering your gallery online.
A quiet moment together, just the two of you. Away from the crowd, it’s a chance to breathe, connect & capture an authentic memory you’ll treasure far beyond posed portraits.
A bride wading through a muddy field in her wellies, laughing uncontrollably as the heavens opened — before changing out of her soaked dress halfway through the day. It was messy, imperfect, and completely unforgettable. Real emotion always wins over perfection.
My couples rarely ask for posed or unusual shots — they trust me to capture authentic moments as they unfold. The originality comes from their unique story, not a staged idea.
Technically, I’m cheating because it’s a Netflix series — but Adolescence is the most skilful and artful four hours of filming I’ve ever seen. It’s shot in one continuous take, and the way it flows through changing locations while keeping the story cohesive is a true masterpiece. The planning, emotion, and fluidity of it all… it’s just breathtaking.
It depends entirely on the couple and the vibe of the day — but I’m drawn to music that’s gentle, cinematic, and a bit earthy. I love when the soundtrack supports the story rather than overpowering it. Something with warmth and subtle emotion always feels right.
Embrace it! Rain creates beautiful, atmospheric photos full of emotion. Have umbrellas on hand, trust me to adapt, and know the candid moments will be just as magical as the sunny ones.
I fell in love with photography during my A Levels, then went on to study videography at university. Combining both led me to wedding storytelling through photos & film.
I actually started in videography before photography. My background in theatre and working behind the scenes gave me a strong sense of how to tell a story without being intrusive. I fell in love with capturing real emotion in motion — the way sound, movement, and subtle glances come together to tell something honest. That naturally evolved into hybrid storytelling, where I now bring both film and stills into one connected story.
