Every wedding is unique, but one that stands out was a clifftop Dorset ceremony overlooking the sea. It was small, intimate & filled with raw emotion — beautifully candid & unposed.

Kelly & Rick’s wedding will always hold a special place in my heart — not just because it was the first I captured, but because it was so beautifully real. It took place on the groom’s family farm, with every kind of weather imaginable, turning the day into a joyful, muddy adventure. The bride even had to change out of her dress mid-way through! It was full of laughter, love, and the kind of moments that make this job magic. I’ve stayed in touch with them since and even photographed their firstborn’s naming ceremony a year later. It’s memories like these — messy, meaningful, and heartfelt — that remind me why I do what I do.

Technically, I’m cheating because it’s a Netflix series — but Adolescence is the most skilful and artful four hours of filming I’ve ever seen. It’s shot in one continuous take, and the way it flows through changing locations while keeping the story cohesive is a true masterpiece. The planning, emotion, and fluidity of it all… it’s just breathtaking.

It depends entirely on the couple and the vibe of the day — but I’m drawn to music that’s gentle, cinematic, and a bit earthy. I love when the soundtrack supports the story rather than overpowering it. Something with warmth and subtle emotion always feels right.

I fell in love with photography during my A Levels, then went on to study videography at university. Combining both led me to wedding storytelling through photos & film.

I actually started in videography before photography. My background in theatre and working behind the scenes gave me a strong sense of how to tell a story without being intrusive. I fell in love with capturing real emotion in motion — the way sound, movement, and subtle glances come together to tell something honest. That naturally evolved into hybrid storytelling, where I now bring both film and stills into one connected story.
