Are you looking for a relaxed and primarily candid approach to your wedding photo's? Just wanting some stunning images to remember the day by without the fuss? Someone who can make you feel at ease and create a beautiful, bright and warm gallery that tells the story of your day?
You have come to the right place. Hi, name is Alice of Fraser Photography based in Linlithgow.
I am all about capturing the real, genuine moment's that matter to you the most. Your wedding photos should be as unique and awesome as you are. My approach is unobtrusive, relaxed and like a pal with a camera. The majority of you're gallery with me will be candid, telling the story of you're day as it unfolds with some easy direction for your portraits. If you are a couple who don't take life too seriously and are all about having a relaxed and beautiful day with the ones you both love the most, let's chat!
My photography style is all about capturing the real, genuine moment's that matter the most. Your wedding photos should be as unique and awesome as you are. My edit style is true to life, bright and warm, really just enhancing what is already in front of me to give that wow factor.
IMPORTANT: I know couple's are just as busy planning their big day as I am. So you have all the information you could need for an enquiry and not waste any of your precious time, I clearly display all of my information/pricing/work on both Bridebook and my website: www.fraser-photography.co.uk.
In a way they are all memorable in their own way. I never take for granted the importance of a wedding day no matter how many I do. The one that will always stand out though is my very first one that I did. I did this for free to gain experience and the couple, vicar and family were all just fantastic. So kind and welcoming and I honestly can't thank them enough for taking a chance on me when I first started out.
Relaxed, Fun, Creative, Candid, Colourful
Taking the leap to pursue my dream and start my wee business. I started this on maternity leave. After I had my little boy my whole life changed and I decided to change with it.
To do whatever you and your partner want to do. Not what keeps others (family) happy. It is a once in a lifetime deal -even if it's not your first rodeo, it is just as special. Do it your way and most importantly - Enjoy the process. It will be over so fast & those wedding blues are real.
Instead of flower girls, Flower Grannys. The cutest thing in the world and the most lovely way to include grans who mean so much to couple's. Beer boys is a close second .
After I get an initial enquiry through my website, I have an informal call with the couple to see if I am the right fit for them and hear more about their plans and day. When they book in I explain next steps. Five weeks before their date I arrange to meet in person if local or via zoom and go over timings/ group lists and the specifics of the day. I then check in the day before the wedding. After the wedding sneak peeks are delivered within a week but often its the next day. then gallery time is within 5-8 weeks but I keep each couple updated depending on workload at the time. After Gallery delivery , USB boxes with prints are sent out within a week (or depending when the couple pick their prints)
Confetti! So much joy and fun.
A surprise entrance from the Father of the Groom who came over from Asia. This was an emotional one. A bride throwing out dirty dancing moves in her bridal lingerie, absolute legend.
White or clear umbrellas, A sense of humour and trust in the process. Some of the most gorgeous photos I have are of an amazing couple literally dancing in the rain. When I say rain I mean a downpour. Of course, an hour later ( glorious sunshine) but this is Scotland. My advice is to embrace the weather and if you are overly worried about getting wet then choose your venue wisely so there are options for getting nice photos inside. Lots of people choose their venue for the view or photo ops outside so this is a massive factor to keep in mind. Dresses can be dry cleaned and make up can be re applied but this time can't be recreated :)
I have always loved photography. I decided after having my little boy to pursue it professionally and try and do something I loved- Life is too short to not take chances.
I am completely self taught and I have invested so much time and money into this passion of mine and I am now lucky enough to call it my job thanks to all my fantastic couples.
