FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

My first wedding photography job was back in 2010. I’d recently finished my City & Guilds, Level 3 Photography course at Preston College. I was an assistant to another photographer and I recall being excited and nervous at the same time. The wedding day was perfect and the weather was beautiful too. When I arrived home I remembered the adrenaline which I had from looking back at all the photographs I’d taken. That’s when I realised I had the urge and passion to photograph weddings.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fun, candid, modern, timeless, creative.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I studied photography whilst working full time. I’m proud of my qualifications and the business I have built over the years.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Give yourself time to choose the right photographer for you. Think about what style of photography you would like me to take, do you like posed or candid photos? I always ask couples to write a list of all photos they would like photographing on their wedding day. Also depending on your wedding venue/location it’s great to think of potential photos that you would like me to take.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

When the daughter of the bride sang at the ceremony, it brought a tear to my eye.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After a couple have made a booking, I arrange to meet with the couple at least one month before their wedding day to discuss their photo requirements. I can take pre Wedding photos if requested.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

Couple photo either kissing or holding hands.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Photography on the beach.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Umbrella and wellies if you really want to be photographed outdoors. If not then we can take photos indoors.

Describe how you got into photography.

Whilst working as a graphic designer I took an interest in fashion photography that was featured in the magazines I worked on.
