Forever After Photography

One of the most unforgettable weddings I photographed was an intimate woodland ceremony deep in the Lake District. The couple exchanged vows under a canopy of trees with just ten guests, barefoot on a bed of fallen leaves. It was simple, deeply emotional, and felt completely true to them. Nature was their backdrop, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

I’m most proud of the way couples feel seen and comfortable in front of my lens. So many tell me they usually hate being photographed, but by the end of the day, they forgot the camera was even there. Building that trust and capturing genuine moments as a result — that’s what fuels me.

A couple once wrote handwritten letters to each guest, placed at their seats before the reception. Watching guests open them and become visibly emotional was incredibly powerful. It turned the day into a celebration not just of the couple, but of everyone who had shaped their journey.

Everything starts with a friendly consultation, either over coffee or a video call — I want to hear about your story, your plans, and your vision. From there, I guide you through the booking and planning process, offer timeline tips, and stay in regular contact. On the day, I work calmly and discreetly, blending in with the flow of events to capture honest, beautiful moments. Afterwards, you receive a carefully edited gallery filled with both the big and in-between moments that tell the full story of your day.

The quiet moment just after the ceremony, away from the crowd — often when the couple has their first few breaths alone as newlyweds. There’s something incredibly raw and joyful in those minutes that can’t be staged.

One couple asked to recreate the very first photo they ever took together — a spontaneous snapshot in Paris before they were even dating. On their wedding day at a stunning French château, we styled a private shoot inspired by that moment. It was elegant, emotional, and a beautiful nod to the beginning of their love story.
