I had the pleasure of shooting a couple at a church their families had been married in for generations, then at a marquis on the grounds of the school they had both grown up in. The history and love throughout the day were palpable, and the friends and family celebrated their special day loudly and with love.
Natural, timeless, creative, modern, romantic.
My dedication to making the couple's day easier, and that my photos are what they will look back on for years to come.
Enjoy the process! You are planning the biggest party of your life, make the planning part of that too.
Custom wands for the kids, the couple were big on Harry Potter and it was so sweet to see that little detail.
My main thing is to put you at ease and remind you that the day is about you as a couple. So my first port of call is to get you to look at each other, take a moment, and enjoy being with the person you've decided to marry. Everything after that is just me documenting the way you interact naturally.
I think that one of the most important photos of the day is a picture of the couple at the focal point of the venue. Often the venue has been chosen for a reason, and I like to celebrate that in a way that shows you two off on the big day.
I've had a photoshoot with the couple's cat before, which was as adorable as it was challenging!
Embrace it! We live in a rainy country, the truth is there is always a chance it'll rain on the big day. So grab some umbrellas, and get some fun, romantic, movie-style kissing in the rain photos!
I have always loved shooting, and it started back in the skateparks with my friends. I sucked at skating, and still do, but I loved being behind the camera and making my friends look cool. That always stuck with me until several years ago when I decided to do this for a living, I haven't looked back since.
