I’m just not sure I can pick one!
Just recently a lot of weddings have been rescheduled due to covid, the relief and emotion that can be seen as the day is incredible after such a long wait! Watching families come together after such a long time is a beautiful thing, and it’s my job to capture that, I am so lucky!!

Myself and my wife have built this business up together, I worked very hard to get initial bookings to get off the ground. I have so much passion for my photography which all goes into my business. Neither of us are business-minded but we've worked hard to ensure we do things properly and to a high standard.
Don't book the first supplier you see, make sure you look around - you'll kick yourself if you find someone you LOVE after you've booked.
Initial conversation on date and venue - what they're looking for, what sort of style.
Couple are able to view my portfolios.
I grab further information about the couple, their likes/dislikes, how they have planned their day.
A contract is sent with all details, deposit is paid to secure the date.
Anytime before the wedding I either meet up with couples or have a conversation over the phone regarding the timings of the day/ the important people/ specific shots they would like/other suppliers/ any other relevant details I should know.
A confetti shot - its not a legal part of the day... but it's FUN!!!
Granted - a lot of the shots are of the brides or grooms pulling confetti out of their mouth or from down their top, but it shows emotion, and I love that.
Once, the groom and his friends wanted to do a line out with the bride being the receiver of the ball. If you aren't a fan of rugby, just google 'line out' - the bride was the player up in the air....... I'm a massive rugby fan, so I LOVED it.
We can always figure out a plan B! I scope out all venues before I photograph there, so I will always have an idea of photo locations if the weather is against us!
When I was very young, it was clear I was creative! My parents brought me a DSLR camera and that was it! I would photograph anything - from balancing digestive biscuits on a table (I'm not joking) to my family members on special occasions. Unfortunately photography had to be put on the back burner once I started full time work. I work full time as a Paramedic and I'm very lucky that I can carry on my passion alongside it. Working for the NHS also has it's perks at weddings - I have previously caught a bride when she unfortunately fell over and have supported with lots of other wedding guests for different reasons, who says you can't work two jobs at once?!
