Based in Glasgow, Indigo Wildstars is a wedding photography team passionate about telling your unique love story with authenticity and creativity. Whether you’re dreamers, creatives, or simply want to celebrate your love in your own way, they focus on the real, imperfect moments that make your wedding day genuinely yours. Say goodbye to stiff poses and forced smiles—their goal is to capture the natural energy, emotion, and nostalgia as your day unfolds.
Emma and Murray, a husband-and-wife duo, lead Indigo Wildstars with a calm, thoughtful approach that puts you first. As a neurodivergent-led team, they have a special talent for noticing the little details—the cheeky glances, happy tears, and quiet moments that often go unseen. Their priority is to help you feel comfortable and completely yourself, so your wedding album truly reflects your connection and the genuine atmosphere of your celebration.
Every couple’s wedding is unique, and Indigo Wildstars’ packages reflect that flexibility. All packages include:
Our favourite weddings are where the couples add their own personal touches to the day, showing their heritage or creativity. We love it when unique and non-traditional aspects are added, such as handmade items, home baked cakes or pets attending as guests.
Natural, chilled, genuine, candid, gentle fun.
We are most proud of the relationships we have with our couples, some even becoming friends!
Don't stress the little things, everything will run smoothly on the day, and if it doesn't, who cares! Roll with it and have fun.
Our favourite personal touches have been when couples make their own bouquets out of flowers from their garden,or centre pieces out of foliage and other things found in nature, there was even one couple who spent days folding different coloured origami cranes for good luck. Anything that is handmade makes our heart all warm!
After finding out your date is available we will send over a wedding welcome guide which has more information. We can then arrange a chat either online or face-to-face in Glasgow City Centre. If you're happy to go ahead, We'll send over some short forms and get your date in the diary.
If you've booked an engagement session we will do that about a month or two before your wedding. This is a great way to get used to the having your photo taken and also to get to know each other a bit better. If you wanted you could also use these photos as a guestbook for your wedding.
Then about a week before the wedding day, we will have one more final chat to go over any details which may have changed and just have a catch up
On your wedding day we will arrive early to get set up, then the day just unfolds itself, where I will capture it as it is.
After we're finished for the day, We'll say our goodbyes then head home to back up all your photos.
It takes roughly 6 weeks to edit and upload your images to your personal online gallery. Where you will be able to share with friends and family and order any products you like.
Sunset shots in the evening can look beautiful, depending on the time of year, this can be done after dinner if you would like to pop back out for 10 minutes.
I don't usually get requests from couples as everyone is so chilled out and are just looking for their day to be covered authentically
Wellies, boots and umbrellas! Embrace the Scottish weather and don't worry about getting your dress or hair wet, these photos can look epic!
