If I’m wanting to be your photographer then I’ll want to know as much about you as possible, so It’s only fair I give you some information about me right? I’m Laura, a fully qualified female photographer based in the sunny City of Preston, Lancashire. I’m a camera clicker, dog lover and all around creative enthusiast! I discovered a passion and undying love for photography from a young age, when I was given a camera while walking around the streets on Venice. The people were so different to me, and it intrigued me to another level. ​ Starting out from capturing images of exotic places and people, this addiction soon turned into a fully fledged relationship. I love capturing emotions, which means my style of photography is very much candid and relaxed. I love to have fun with my couples which means I don’t force your guests to smile or make you pose in a way which will be uncomfortable to you, I want to capture real, raw moments. As I studied photography at university I originally started photographing fashion, I was in love with conceptual shoots and bringing out emotions in the subjects, and showcasing the fashion pieces. This means I have two ranges of styles! My first style I would say is very grand, and dramatic. I love photographing from different angles, bold lighting and getting an amazing shot of the dress and the person. My second style is much more relaxed and natural, I love to see peoples raw emotions and reactions, there's something about capturing those details which make me ecstatic. I particularly love focusing on the 'first look' and personalising couple's photograph's to show their unique personalities. ​ If you want a photographer who will be constantly on the look out for perfect spots to capture that moment when you and your partner get a few minutes alone together after a busy day, then I may just be the one for you.
