Based in the picturesque seaside town of Weymouth, Ed Coleman Photography specialises in capturing natural, timeless images that truly reflect the emotions of your wedding day. From joyful laughter and happy tears to those quiet, meaningful glances, Ed’s photography tells your unique love story with creativity and genuine care.
Serving couples across Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, and Hampshire, Ed blends candid, documentary-style photography with a fine art approach. This means he captures real, unscripted moments as they happen, creating an authentic and heartfelt record of your celebration. He stays close to the action while remaining unobtrusive, helping you and your guests feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the day.
From your very first contact, Ed guides you through a smooth and supportive process. Couples often praise his professional yet friendly and down-to-earth style, which helps create a calm, stress-free atmosphere. His goal is to make you feel at ease in front of the camera so your true personalities shine through every photo.
After your wedding, Ed carefully edits all images to highlight their beauty and emotion. You’ll receive all high-resolution photos, often presented in an elegant presentation box with a USB and a selection of prints. Plus, a private online gallery makes it easy to share your memories with family and friends. With years of experience, Ed Coleman is dedicated to delivering a personal service and wedding images you’ll cherish forever.
All my weddings have been memorable for different reasons, but Tara and Phil's wedding at St Paul's Cathedral in London was an experience that I will never forget.
Professional. Relaxed. Friendly. Quality. Calm.
Prior preparation. Make sure that the day is full planned but at the same time not regimented. This is your special day and you don't want to be worrying about meeting a timetable.
Once a couple contacts me, a meeting is set up so I can introduce myself and discuss the services I provide. During the meeting I will explain my background, my style and how I work. Once the basics have been agreed a cost will be set and an invoice will be sent for a 10% deposit to secure the day, (the remaining balance will need to be paid in full prior to the big day). I will stay in contact with the couple advising on the days timings when ever I can, and to organise another remit up for some engagement photos. This is the perfect way for the couple to see how I work and to put them at ease.
