They really are fantastic photographers, they take time to get the perfect shot. We have used them twice, once for our wedding and once for a newborn shoot! They also covered my brother-in-laws wedding. The personal touch, with helping behind the scenes is definitely what separates these guys from the rest, they go above and beyond! Did you ever dream that having photography could feel like hanging out with old friends? That’s the atmosphere Jodie and Simon created almost instantly and combined with other times not knowing they were there made it perfect.

Jodie and Simon. Where to start? Okay, let’s start at the beginning. My husband and I had looked at so many photographers but something just felt off and not right. I stumbled upon Dover Media Group on social media and stalked them for a while before booking in a video call. Jodie video called us on a Wednesday evening which considering we work office hours was great for us. Instantly it was like chatting to your mate over a cup of tea about all the things we DIDN’T want or made us cringe. At the time I didn’t think much of it but looking back it was so important that on the day they just knew what they were doing but more on that in a bit. Jodie of course asked us what we did want to and was making notes throughout. She did mention an engagement shoot but it wasn’t a bit of us and she accepted that at the first no. No pushing back, no oh but if you did do it… bla bla bla. Not once did she ever try and sell us anything we didn’t ask for and after having my wedding I can assure you it’s a rarity! She left the decision completely in our hands and said to just let her know. I’m at this point giving my husband the look but we ended the call and I think within two minutes the booking was confirmed and we felt really confident in our choice. Remember once the wedding is done, photos are all you have left so this was a really important choice for us. The lead up to the day was smooth sailing. No questions were left unanswered even if I did text late on in the day. We had a video call just before the wedding to confirm everything and we were good to go! So, the wedding. Both Jodie and Simon turned up on time (actually early I’m sure) and Simon got the short straw coming to venue as the bridal Party were still setting up when he arrived. No drama though, Simon and his trusty fishing wire jumped straight in to the rescue and voila! The hoop was dressed and up in no time. His trusty fishing wire also saved my dress when my bustle wouldn’t cooperate later in the evening! My husband said Jodie was great and at points they didn’t even realise she was there until they heard a click. I know she was treated to the guys beautiful rendition of All my life en route to the venue and I sincerely apologise for that 😂. The ceremony photos are beautiful and they really captured the vibe. They didn’t force any poses on us and it felt natural for the most part. When the reception opened they came into their own. They know how to work a crowd and a Photo Booth! (We added it on to our package and for the price it is exceptional). They just slotted in and everyone loved them. They were truly just like guests and we cannot fault them. We’re recommending them to anyone who mentions needing a photographer for anything. Thank you Jodie & Simon 🖤

We hired Dover Media Group for our wedding reception following a destination wedding. Jodie was easy to communicate in the lead up to the wedding, listened to everything we wanted and the whole evening was just perfect! Jodie and Holly slotted into the night like two extra guests whilst also remaining professional. They were great fun to be around and got some absolutely amazing shots of our party. The photo booth hire was the icing on the cake, everyone loved it and we had a good giggle looking through the pictures! Would definitely recommend :) we have also used DMG for our sons cake smash and looking forward to the boys Christmas photos!

Jodie and Simon captured all the amazing moments of our wedding and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!
