My best memory has to be at Holmewood Hall. I couldn't stop laughing at the difference between groom prep and bridal prep. While the girls were stressing out and getting prepared 4h in advance, the boys were talking about their upcoming matches and were in underwear 1h before the ceremony started. It was one of my first time experiencing both sides of preparation and I honestly just found it hilarious.
Emotional, intimate, fun, documentary and memorable
I'm proud to make each of my clients smile after their wedding day. I'm so glad I can impact their life in the best possible way. To me, a wedding is nothing compared to the journey of marriage that comes after it. With beautiful memories, it's such an amazing thing to look back at your wedding day's album and remember the love you have for one another.
Don't plan everything. Life is unpredictable. Things happen, things change. A wedding is not about perfection. A wedding is about the celebration of the love you have for one another; so don't feel obliged to create a perfect Pinterest wedding with 500 guests.
Usually, after an enquiry, I have a call with my couples to "meet" virtually and start talking about my services. Once they have made a decision, we then sign a contract together (which I explain in the most simple way possible). Before the wedding day, I help the couple with their planning whenever they need me. If they need a recommendation for a supplier I have worked with - I'm always there to help.
After the wedding, I send highlights within a week and a full album within 6 weeks.
But.. the little things in between and the mini surprises. That remains a secret!
Sounds horrible but a simple photo of you two smiling. Yep. It's so simple. But your mother or father probably prefers framing a photo of you smiling than kissing haha.
I haven't been asked to take it but the photo of the two dogs kissing in front of the bride is, to me at least, my favourite and most original photo up to now.
Clear umbrellas, trusting your photographer, go with the flow, indoor back-up plan... But rainy wedding = lucky marriage!
My uncle was a photographer. He sadly passed away when I was 11. My grandfather gave me his equipment as he knew I was the only who would actually use it. At this time, my mother had a best friend getting married. So I took the camera, and I went to take photos of that wedding at 11 years old. Yes! Very young haha. But I just wanted to make my uncle Cedric proud. After that, I forced myself to carry on with my school and university, but as soon as I reached the "mature" age to become a photographer - I set my business up!
