After our initial meeting and subsequent booking, the next meeting is generally a few weeks prior to the wedding for their engagement style portrait shoot in the grounds of their chosen venue, for a relaxed walk about taking a few informal shots. We would then discuss planning the group shot requirements and make sure we have a list to help make efficient use of the time to help it flow easily! The wedding day is generally around 8 hours long from getting ready through to the first dance. I try to have the photographs ready within 2-3 weeks after the wedding and meet up to have a quick viewing with the couple.

I left school at 17 to work for a photographer and spent the next ten years working for various other photographers and learning all the art go being a photographer. I went freelance at the age of 27 and have never looked back - it has been great fun, hard work but more importantly I have enjoyed myself along the way!
