Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Emotive, Vibrant, Elegant, Unobtrusive, Timeless
What about your business are you most proud of?
I love my ability to really connect with my couples and their family on the wedding day. I consider myself a great communicator and have a way with people young and old.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your honeymoon is about you both and your wedding day is for your family and friends. My tip is to ring-fence the budget for your honeymoon first and then plan the wedding day with your remaining budget. Whatever type of wedding day you plan, the people who love you will all attend and you also get your dream honeymoon. As for choosing your photographer, 1) Love their style, 2) View a full day wedding gallery and 3) Pick someone you wouldn't mind attending your wedding day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initially, I alway like to have a quick chat with every potential client to run through your plans, and you get to see and sense if I'm a good fit photographer for you. I tend to do this over FaceTime or Zoom. We'll discuss my approach to wedding photography, your wedding day plans, what is important to you and any concerns you may have. I will also cover any additional services and products you maybe interested in. Should you book me, I'll contact you 6 week before the big day to discuss/run through your finalised wedding day timeline. The rest is over to me to capture and create beautiful images of you and your families and friends.
Describe how you got into photography.
This will sound strange, but my sister who lives abroad asked me to buy her a camera from Amazon. It caused me to ask my wife, "why don't I have a camera....I mean I love photography". I bought a semi pro camera that year and one thing lead to another and my passion grew. It grew so fast, that I decided to take creating beautiful and timeless images very seriously. I signed up to a one year academy course whilst working full time, attended many workshops with other established and experienced photographers. I also second shot a lot of weddings for other photographers to gain more experience in addition to my own weddings. The rest is history and I am still just as passionate about wedding photography as I was back then.
