FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

A beautiful ceremony on a lakeside pier in Switzerland, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views on both sides. The stillness of the water, the soft light, and the sound of laughter echoing across the lake made it feel almost dreamlike. It was one of those rare moments where everything aligned; the setting, the emotion, and the story – creating images that felt as timeless as the landscape itself.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Emotive, Vibrant, Elegant, Unobtrusive, Timeless

What about your business are you most proud of?

I love my ability to really connect with my couples and their family on the wedding day. I consider myself a great communicator and have a way with people young and old.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Give yourself plenty of time between the end of your ceremony (and confetti!) and the start of your wedding breakfast. Many couples underestimate how quickly that part of the day passes; and end up feeling rushed trying to fit in everything from candid moments during the drinks reception to group photos, couple portraits, and detail shots of the reception space.

If you’ve booked two photographers, it’s easier to capture multiple moments at once. But if it’s just one photographer, remember they can only be in one place at a time. Building in a comfortable time window allows your photographer to work calmly and creatively; and ensures you get all the beautiful, natural images you’ll treasure.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

One of my favourites was an outdoor wedding breakfast held under a beautiful glass marquee, filled with soft natural light. The couple styled the space like a relaxed living room, with sofas, coffee tables, and food and dessert stations instead of a traditional sit-down meal. Guests could help themselves, enjoy a drink from the bar, and move about freely, creating an atmosphere that felt effortless and inviting.

The setup completely removed the formality of the usual long or round tables, allowing everyone to connect and celebrate in a more natural, joyful way. The light, the laughter, and the movement made it a dream to photograph — every frame felt spontaneous, authentic, and full of life.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Every couple’s experience is designed to feel personal, seamless, and enjoyable from start to finish. We begin with a relaxed Zoom consultation to connect and chat through your wedding plans, vision, and photography goals. Once your date is secured, I’ll guide you through each step of the journey so you always feel supported and at ease.

If your collection includes a pre-wedding shoot, we’ll schedule that ahead of your day. It’s a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture some beautiful, relaxed portraits together. Around six weeks before the wedding, we’ll have a detailed consultation to refine your timeline, ensuring every moment you care about is thoughtfully planned and beautifully captured.

On the day itself, my approach is calm, discreet, and intuitive. I work quietly in the background, documenting genuine moments as they unfold, with subtle direction only when needed. A few days after, you’ll receive a curated sneak-peek gallery to relive the magic while it’s still fresh, followed by your full gallery and slideshow within 6–8 weeks. Timeless memories to treasure for years to come.

What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?

There are so many moments that deserve to be called “the one,” but if I had to choose, it would be the first kiss – that beautiful instant right after you’ve said “I do.” It’s more than just a photo; it’s the moment you’ll remember the feeling of becoming married – the sound of your loved ones cheering, the joy on your faces, and the rush of pure happiness that fills the room.

Right after that, I always recommend taking a formal family photo with the most important people in your lives. It’s the image that becomes a legacy – a timeless reminder of the loved ones who shared that day with you. Years from now, it will mean even more than you realise today.

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Aside from moving the ceremony indoors if needed, I always encourage couples to embrace the day exactly as it comes. Rain can add such a romantic and cinematic quality to your images, creating reflections, textures, and atmosphere that you simply cannot recreate. It becomes part of your story, not something to hide from.

I work creatively to incorporate the weather into your photographs, capturing those fleeting raindrops, umbrella moments, and cosy indoor scenes with the same artistry and care as any sunlit day. Some of the most beautiful and emotionally rich images I have taken were on rainy weddings because they remind you of how it truly felt, and that is what makes them timeless.

Describe how you got into photography.

It all started rather unexpectedly. My sister, who lives abroad, asked me to buy her a camera from Amazon. That simple request made me pause and ask my wife, “Why don’t I have a camera? I’ve always loved photography.”

Not long after, I bought my first semi-professional camera, and one thing quickly led to another. My passion for creating beautiful and timeless images grew so rapidly that I decided to take it seriously. I enrolled in a one-year photography academy while still working full-time, attended workshops with established photographers, and second-shot countless weddings to refine my craft and gain experience.

From there, everything fell into place. What began as curiosity has become a lifelong passion, and I am still just as inspired by wedding photography today as I was when I first picked up that camera.
